Jason Morgan Needs Help

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is bound and determined to keep Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) away from Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). He visited  Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) at the hospital and asked him to help his cause.

Lucas admitted having similar concerns for Carly’s safety, so he has tried to get through to her with no luck.

Jason says that he has always been able to keep Carly safe while living in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) world because he understood the risks. He doesn’t understand the WSB world and knows that the stakes are much higher, so keeping Carly safe is nearly impossible.

Meanwhile, Carly and Jack are waking up after a night together and making plans. They know that their time may be limited because of his job and her kids, but they both commit to spending as much time together as possible.

Emma Drake’s Rap Sheet Is Partially Sealed

Across town, General Hospital recaps for Wednesday’s show note that Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner) has a court date after chaining herself to the Quartermaine crypt and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) believes that if she shows up she can get the charges dropped.

Emma’s grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a conversation with ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) and finds out that her existing rap sheet isn’t the problem, it’s what they can’t see.

Emma was arrested over college activism back in California, they struck a deal with her, and then sealed the record. They both agree that it was a pretty big crime for the record to have been sealed, and the ADA doesn’t know exactly what Emma is capable of.

They go before the judge and Tracy argues that no crime was actually committed. Emma agrees to make a guilty plea in exchange for community service.

When Anna asks her later about the sealed records Emma says that she can never tell because she signed an NDA.

The Metro Court Is The Place To Be

Meanwhile, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has a job interview with Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) who is interested in criminal defense and the work that she does.

He is also tied to JS and Associates which is likely Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) company. After his interview he texts Lucas to see if he can meet him at the Metro Court Bar.

Diane then has a short meeting with Jason, who wants to amend his will to make sure that Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and her baby are also taken care of if something happens to him.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny are having lunch at the Metro Court when Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) shows up to try and push some buttons.

He suggests that Laura stop keeping company with criminals and she responds that she has nothing to hide, which is why she is having lunch with her friend.

After Ezra leaves Sonny suggests that he could be right. He doesn’t want his reputation to tarnish her job as Mayor of Port Charles. Laura reassures Sonny that she is secure in their friendship.

They notice that Carly and Jack have been seated at a table nearby. Within seconds Jack takes a call and approaches Sonny to talk.

They step outside and Jack tells Sonny that the guy that was contracted to kill him, Solinski (Jeff Wolfe), was just found dead. Jack said that the guy was known for working with incendiary devices a lot in Africa. Sonny leaves after their chat.

Marco is seated at the bar and has just about given up when Lucas walks in to join him for a drink.

Deception Makes A Deal With Jenz Sidwell

In other General Hospital recaps for Wednesday, April 2, Tracy, along with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and Natalia Ramierez (Eva LaRue) are in a meeting at Deception, debating about whether or not to do business with Jenz Sidwell.

None of them really trust him but they need the zincite before Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) gets her hands on it first.

Tracy and Natalia excuse themselves from the decision and the rest are leaning towards doing it. They head to Spoon Island to meet with Jenz and ask some questions.

Once there, Natalia is dead quiet while staring holes through her ex-husband. Maxie needs to leave the meeting early leaving BLQ and Lucy to negotiate. It looks like they’ve reached a deal and Natalia stays behind as the others leave.

Once alone she tells Jenz that they will never sign once she tells the ladies all that she knows. She also plans on admitting that he is her ex.

Jenz gets furious and promises to destroy her if she talks. As he is yelling, there is a knock on Sidwell’s door. He opens it to find Sonny.
