General Hospital Recap Wednesday, March 25: Marco Dies, Jason Taken By WSB & Rocco Confesses

Charlotte And Danny Sought Valentin’s Help

As Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) desperately searched for her missing grandson Danny, Charlotte brought him to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) home, believing that Valentin could assist Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)  in fleeing the town.

Valentin inquired about the WSB’s arrest warrant for Jason, and Danny mentioned that no one seemed to have the answer.

Eventually, after responding to his grandmother’s call, Danny discovered that Jason had been arrested for shooting WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

After pleading with Alexis to assist his father, Danny shared the news with Carly, Valentin, and Charlotte; Valentin concurred with Carly’s view that if Jason shot Cullum, it must have been out of necessity.

Charlotte attempted to comfort Danny, saying at least his dad wasn’t on the run and hopefully, he’d be home soon, but Valentin and Carly exchanged a glance, aware that this was unlikely.

Valentin Came Up With A Plan

Carly and Valentin recommended that Danny return home, but instead, Danny asked Charlotte to take him to the PCPD to visit his father.

Carly was determined to see Jason, but Valentin persuaded her against it, clarifying that security would be very tight since Jason was accused of shooting a WSB agent.

Confident that Jason would eventually be found guilty and sent to Switzerland, Valentin proposed using his connections to help Jason escape during transport and go into hiding.

In the meantime, he noted, this would give them a chance to prove that Cullum was a double agent.

Dante Cautioned Jason And Nathan Gave Advice

At the PCPD, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) cautioned Jason that the charges related to shooting a high-ranking WSB official in the back were different from his previous arrests.

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) advised Jason to think carefully about his next move, as it could decide if he would spend the rest of his life in prison.

Frustrated by Jason’s silence, Dante left to speak with Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

While they were alone, Nathan indicated to Jason that he had handled the situation with Danny, then resumed his role as the questioning detective.

As Justine and Dante observed from the window, she questioned why Jason didn’t run away immediately.

Dante And Justine Discussed Why Jason Was Behaving So Differently

Dante speculated it might be related to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who had been unconscious at the scene, and Justine insisted they needed to get Dr. Westbourne’s statement right away.

They sent Nathan to General Hospital  to speak with his sister, instructing Detective West to follow protocol.

Soon after, Alexis arrived at the station, insisting on seeing her client- Jason thought Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had sent her.

But she updated him on what happened when she and Danny found Marco after the stabbing, revealing that Danny had pleaded with her to assist his father.

Chase Notified Sidwell And Ava About Marco, While Marco And Cullum Were In Surgery

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) shared a story with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) about falling off the parapet, leading to a kiss.

They were interrupted by Patrolman Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who brought bad news: Marco had been stabbed. Chase asked Sidwell if he knew anyone who would harm his son.

Meanwhile, during surgery, Cullum’s blood pressure fell, but Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) managed to remove the bullet and save the WSB director.

Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) worked on Marco in the ER, closing most stab wounds, but a torn blood vessel caused internal bleeding.

Britt Frantically Demanded Updates On Marco And Cullum

Britt frantically demanded updates on Marco and Cullum from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), insisting her life depended on it; then remembered Jason telling her to inform the police he shot Cullum.

Portia returned with news that Marco was still in surgery and Cullum was critical but stable, prompting Britt to lament that the WSB director was alive.

Nathan then arrived to question his sister-Britt explained that Agent Cullum had been bothering her and confirmed Nathan’s suspicion it was linked to her time in Croatia.

She added that she fell and hit her head when trying to leave. Nathan told her Cullum had been shot and asked if she saw who did it, leading Britt to shout that Jason did it to protect her and demanded Nathan take her to see him.

Marco Died

After Cullum’s surgery, Lucas informed Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and two other WSB agents about the director, then attempted to contact Marco again.

He left a message for his boyfriend indicating that something had gone awry with Jason and Britt’s plan and advised him to brace for repercussions.

Soon after, Lucas met a grieving Elizabeth, who delivered the heartbreaking news that Marco had passed away.

She took a devastated Lucas to say goodbye to Marco, and the doctor held himself responsible for his boyfriend’s death. In the meantime, Portia consoled Isaiah over the loss of his patient.

Jenz Grieved His Son And Swore Revenge, As Ava Comforted Lucas

Later, when Ava and Jenz arrived, Isaiah had to inform Marco’s father of the tragic news, and a heartbroken Sidwell questioned whether Dr. Gannon had intentionally messed up the surgery out of revenge.

Jenz wept as he bid a final farewell to his son, vowing to make Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) pay for both Natalia Rogers-Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) death and now, Marco’s.

Outside the hospital, Ava found Lucas, still in shock at Marco’s death. Initially, he resisted comfort, struggling to accept the reality of Marco’s death, but eventually, he broke down in his aunt’s embrace.

Rocco Confessed All To Lulu

Rocco confided in Lulu about following Britt to the pier. He cried as he described seeing Britt with Lucas, then fighting Agent Cullum, and how he shot the WSB agent to protect Jason.

Nathan and Jason covered for him. Lulu confirmed no one else saw him, and Rocco assured her that neither Cullum nor Britt knew he was there.

Lulu made Rocco promise to keep it a secret and vowed to handle everything. Later, she took him to G.H. where they lied to Elizabeth about his hand injury from a kitchen knife.

The WSB Took Over Jason’s Case

At the PCPD, Justine told Dante she needed a strong case against Jason. Just then, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and two WSB agents arrived, stating they were taking Jason into custody and extraditing him immediately.

One agent shackled Jason in the interrogation room; Jack explained the order came from the top and that the WSB didn’t have to inform Jason of his destination.

He also told Jason that Cullum survived surgery but was in critical condition, urging him to hope the director pulls through.

Jack offered to call Carly and Danny for Jason to say goodbye, but Jason preferred they not see him like this.

Alexis Argued Jason’s Arrest Was Violating His Human Rights

Meanwhile, Alexis argued with the other WSB agent that Jason’s arrest was a violation of his human rights, while Justine insisted her office had the authority to detain the suspect.

However, the agent stated that the WSB had priority over local jurisdiction; he refused to reveal where Jason was being taken.

As officers escorted Jason out of the PCPD, he told Alexis he had named her as Danny’s legal guardian, and she vowed to fight the charges.

Dante followed the group outside to oversee the transfer, and Justine snapped at Jack, asserting that Jason deserved to be tried in Port Charles.

When Brennan said she had been outranked, Justine retorted, “We’ll see about that,” and walked away.

Nathan, Britt, Danny And Charlotte All Reached The WSB Van Before Jason Was Taken Away

Jack told a stunned Alexis that Jason would be long gone before Justine could get a judge on the phone, meaning Danny would never see his father again.

Outside the station, Dante warned the WSB agents that they would be held accountable if anything went wrong during the transfer.

Britt and Nathan then arrived, and she pleaded with Dante to prevent the WSB from extraditing Jason, but he sighed, saying he had no choice.

Then, she and Jason tearfully expressed their love for each other. Just before the agents shut the van door, Danny and Charlotte reached the parking lot.

Danny shared a heartfelt farewell with his father, while Dante and Nathan held him back as the van drove away.
