General Hospital Rumors: Nina Pregnant With Sonny’s Baby?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has some news for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital. Could Sonny’s super sperm have struck again – could Nina, against all odds, be pregnant from a one-time hit?

When Nina first came to Port Charles, she ached to have a child; she was fresh from coming out of her twenty-five year coma and had tracked down her ex-husband Silas Clay (Michael Easton). She also found her cousin Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thiebaud) and her aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and her little brother “Jay” who was really her cousin, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) as well.

One of the first things Nina did was get an appointment with Britt, an obstetrician to ask about if she could still get pregnant – Britt found her to be in early menopause and doubted she could conceive. Nina, of course, was heartbroken – but not long after, her old rival Ava Jerome, now Ava Cassadine (Maura West) had crypt sex with Sonny and his super sperm created Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola)! Could Sonny’s super sperm have struck again and Nina’s news is that she’s pregnant?!

Nina would be on top of the world, finally having a chance to be a mother; even though she has a daughter she doesn’t know about right there in town. Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) reveal as Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) separated at birth twin will probably not happen for a while. Sonny will probably be stunned and possibly blindsided – and secretly wonder why he didn’t get a vasectomy long ago – but once the shock sets in he’ll be happy to be an expectant father again and happy for Nina! Both Sonny and Nina will dread Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) reaction, because as Nina’s pregnancy progresses, she’ll know what happened, so they can hardly keep it from her-although Carly will likely think Nina’s faking the pregnancy to get Sonny to marry her!

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeve’s Pregnancy?

General Hospital viewers can imagine the talk around town when Nina’s pregnancy starts to show; Britt will want to do an ultrasound to make sure it’s really a baby, and Liesl will heartily second it! After all, there have been women who thought they were pregnant only to find they were in stage four ovarian cancer and their baby bump was a deadly tumor, as ovarian cancer can present the same symptoms as pregnancy!

Nina is now several years older than when Britt first tested her when she came to Port Charles, so a surprise pregnancy will be even more unexpected, and she’ll want to keep a close eye on her and her baby. The older a woman gets, unfortunately the better the chances get of birth defects or something wrong, and neither Sonny nor Nina’s aunt and cousin will want her to have to endure a miscarriage or worse.
