General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that General Hospital might be setting up a whodunit centered around the murder of Peter August (Wes Ramsey)! Let’s see who the suspects might be!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Many People Want Peter August Dead!

General Hospital spoilers show many people want Peter dead, and some have even said so publicly, which would be important in a murder with many suspects! General Hospital viewers will remember Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) asking Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to put a hit out on Peter – which he respectively declined, but that’s just because he knew he’d be the prime suspect!

Peter had been responsible for the presumed death of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in the tunnels under the Cassadine compound on Cassadine Island, having been warned by Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) of the instability.

Liesl would be another prime person of interest in a murder of Peter. Sonny handed off the hit to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) in exchange for his influence on the parole board freeing her nephew, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) from Pentonville Prison. Brad was seen carrying a breakfast tray away from Peter’s cell after Peter was poisoned – so if he dies, or is murdered some other way, Brad might be a suspect as well. So far, there’s Maxie, Sonny, Liesl, and possibly Brad! Who else would be a suspect or person of interest should Peter be murdered?

GH Spoilers Rumors – Carly Corinrhos, Valentin Cassadine, Liz Webber, Hamileon Finn

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) would certainly not have a problem taking out Peter, herself, if need be! Carly knows that Peter is ultimately responsible for the presumed death of her best friend! General Hospital viewers know that Carly certainly has some anger issues and she might direct them towards Peter! Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) would also be a very obvious person of interest – he has been heard publicly saying he would kill Peter if he has the chance, and that could be a double whammy storyline if he did.

That would certainly put a kibosh on his smolderingly passionate “Vanna” romance potential with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) since she wants him to pay for his crimes living, not taken out before justice is truly served! Anna might have to arrest Valentin and that would be very drama filled for General Hospital viewers! Speaking of anger, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may not be the most likely suspect in a murder of Peter, but she certainly might be up for being an accomplice, say to lure him into a trap!

But with a child having lost both a stepfather and a father to Peter, she might just have it in her to be a vigilante! Speaking of even more anger, how about Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)? He regrets throwing Peter down the stairs but he certainly doesn’t regret that he didn’t stay dead!

General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Victor Cassadine, Britt Westbourne, Drew Cain, Austin Holt, Hamilton Chase

General Hospital rumors and spoilers hint Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wanting Peter dead, and taking steps to make sure he is! This could be what he was alluding to when he called for peace and cooperation between Cassadines at the Thanksgiving festivities he crashed at Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house. He had said they need to get along in order to band together against a common enemy- and he may have had Peter in mind when he said that!

That could bring at least Nikolas and Ava Cassadine (Marcus Coloma, Maura West) into the mix as well, even if only for aiding and abetting. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) might boil over with enough grief and anger when she comes out of her denial over her feelings for Jason that she could take out her half-brother in a crime of passion! The last three suspects who might kill Peter, although they may or may not be accused of his murder would be Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Austin Gatlin-Holt, (Roger Howarth) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)!

Remember, for someone to be a suspect in a murder, three things must be provable; motive, means, and opportunity! Self-defense or defense of another doesn’t count, although it cannot always be proven!

General Hospital spoilers tease Drew would have motive – he, like Elizabeth, has lost both Franco, his beloved foster brother who saved his life as a toddler, and Jason, his real brother who he just bonded with. He would have means – and he may have opportunity if someone can place him at the scene of the crime! He’s more likely to kill Peter in the defense of someone else, however, that could be one of many. He has sworn to find Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) but he’s seriously out of the loop since she’s been hiding in plain sight as Bailey Lois Quartermaine!

However, he could kill Peter if he figured out the secret and Drew caught him trying to kidnap her! That would go the same for Chase – but he could have motive, means and opportunity to take Peter out as well. Peter nearly killed him with the toxin he ingested that was meant for Finn! Austin is a wild card. But he would kill Peter in defense of Maxie and possibly in self-defense! Maxie did warn him about Peter, after all!
