General Hospital (GH) rumors and spoilers tease that although Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was exposed to everyone in Port Charles as a dangerous criminal, he has found himself more relieved than anything else. Like a snake shedding its skin, Peter feels like he can now be himself, dark impulses and all. General Hospital spoilers show he lost Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), but he won’t give up reuniting with his ex and their unborn daughter. If anything, he just won’t hide any underhanded methods in order to get Maxie back.

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Peter August Find Himself With A Brand New Ally In Cyrus Renault?

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has likely been paying close attention to Peter’s fall from grace. Ever since Cyrus made Port Charles home, he’s tried to build a network of allies, most notably Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). But none of them are loyal to Cyrus, and his attempts to get close to newfound sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has been lukewarm at best. So Cyrus will see Peter as not only a potential friend as well as a powerful ally. The damage they could do together in Port Charles is staggering.

GH Rumors & Spoilers – Peter August Can Effectively Neutralize Any More Articles From Jackie Templeton!

The reason Cyrus was unable to get the board at General Hospital to exclusively market his new powerful and highly addictive painkiller was because Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) wrote a scathing article about Cyrus the night before the board was to vote. Jackie is currently working freelance, but she has a deal in place at the Invader, which of course Peter owns.

General Hospital rumors hint Peter could easily refuse to print anything else Jackie writes as well as write his own complimentary articles on Cyrus. And Cyrus can focus on killing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since he is their common enemy. Peter might even acquire a drug from Cyrus that might leave Maxie doped up and easier to handle or manipulate. Britt might also be a target, since she betrayed Cyrus and has appointed herself Maxie’s protector.
