General Hospital Sofia Mattsson Out - Sasha Corbin Leaves GH, Reunites With ParentsGeneral Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the Friday, July 18 episode was officially Sofia Mattsson’s last one as Sasha Corbin, ending a close to seven-year run with the ABC soap.

It was hard to gauge whether or not Sasha was in fact leaving; however, not only did Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) successfully drop the woman and her baby at a new destination outside of Port Charles, but Soap Opera Digest (SOD) has also confirmed Sofia’s departure from the show.

Saying Goodbye Can Be Hard

As GH fans know, thanks to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) taking Daisy (Brenden & Evelyn Beimford) from her crib, both Sasha and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) were terrified that the baby was being targeted thanks to her grandfather, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Jason agreed to transport Sasha and Daisy to their new life, and during the Thursday, July 17 episode, fans found out that Sasha would be staying with her dad, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and her mother, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).

While there’s always been some bad blood, from Robert’s end, where Jason is concerned, he did offer his thanks for not only bringing Sasha and Daisy to the safe house but also being a good friend to Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) all those years ago.

As Jason left, Sasha gave Jason two kisses on the cheek, one from her and one from Daisy. Sasha ended her run on canvas with a sweet moment between her, Robert, and Daisy. Will she be back someday?

One Exits, One Enters

As Sasha got settled in at her safe home with Robert, Jason was on his phone at the airport in Paris, waiting to return to PC.

This is when he saw a woman hurry by, and as he stood up, he was shocked to catch a glimpse of a lady who looked exactly like Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). But, is she The Britch?

      I liked Jason and Britt together. Lets get this romance going . Sorry to see Sasha leave GH. Lets get new love interest for Michael . Time for new character to come on board. Someone with some spunk to liven up the scene for Michael.
      End the Drew story. It had gotten too involved and we a re just going around in circles with the story.

      Weepy Willow, the cult follower Andrew, the biggest bully ever threatening everybody. Someone needs to stand up to him and tell him go ahead, wrap me out, but you’ll fall right along with me because you were the culprit.

      Why are the good actors always the ones you get rid of? Sasha was a good actress but also such a good asset to the show! It’s sad that she will no longer be on the show. Maybe you will bring her back!

      I heard that Sofia is on a vacation but will be back. Really glad that Britt and mom are back… I wish that the Drew and Willow story was over

      I like Sasha’s character, always did. The network always get rid of characters that I like. They keep the ones that make me cringe. I’m happy the britch is back.

      Very sorry to see Sasha leave GH. Great actress and was hoping for a new story for Sasha and Daisy in GH. Looking forward to seeing Britt back at GH. Hoping that the story line for Drew and Willow will come to an end soon. Dragging. I also would like to see Lulu get her nose out of everybody’s business.

      Sorry to see Sasha and Daisy go…it would have been a nice storyline if she stayed and got together with Michael or Jason. Not sure about Britt. Hopefully Willow will see what Drew is all about and once she gets the mental health care she needs…can have visitation of her kids…..even though Willey isn’t really hers.
