General Hospital Spoilers: A Christmas Miracle: Lulu Wakes Up

General Hospital spoilers reveal Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has been missing in action for over three years now, and fans have long agreed that it’s beyond time to bring her back.

The last we saw her, she was comatose, after having surgery to manage the side effects of a traumatic brain injury she sustained during the explosion at the Floating Rib.

At the time, she was stricken with guilt that her then-boyfriend, Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), died when she was just about to break his heart and end their relationship to chase after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Of course, this leads everyone to believe that when Lulu does wake up, she’s going to be searching for her ex-husband. While it might be a Christmas miracle for Dante, their children, and Lulu’s family and friends, it’ll be just the opposite for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) when Lulu wakes up.

Lulu will have a lot of reality to digest when she wakes up, but rumor has it that surprise is just around the corner. Is it cheesy or cliché to have her wake up in time for the holiday season?

Perhaps, but maybe that’s what Port Charles needs right now. Nothing will delight Laura Collins (Genie Francis) more than to get the call that her daughter is awake, and she may even think it could be enough to bring Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) home.

Laura and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have to go easy on Lulu when she starts asking about Dante — the love of her life. Will she be ready to hear that he’s moved on?

Once upon a time, they were getting busy. But these days, Sam and Dante are often ships in the night.

Reconnecting where they can is still something they both seem to want, but it’s impossible to know how Lulu being awake could change that dynamic.

They also seem to enjoy it when their work overlaps, much the way it recently did with Forsyth and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) blessed mess involving Pikeman and the WSB. But apart from solving tough cases and sharing a beer and the penthouse, these two don’t share much.

In fact, fans often claim they both spend more holidays and weekends apart than together these days. Is that because a split is on the horizon?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Road Ahead Is Paved With Good Intentions

Lulu is going to require a lot of high-level care in the weeks and months following her awakening from such a long coma.

Dante will make every effort to make sure both Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) see their mother regularly — and that’s going to give him a lot of face time with Lulu as well.
