General Hospital Spoilers: A Custody Battle On The Way For Baby Louise/Bailey

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease BLQ and Maxie came up with a brilliant plan to keep the child safe from Peter, but now their efforts could backfire on them. A judge could rule for a second time that Ms. Jones is an unfit mother.

General Hosptial Spoilers – No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) faked the kidnapping of her daughter Louise in order to keep the baby safe from her deranged father, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is now raising the little girl she renamed Bailey in the Q mansion. An unsuspecting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) believes he is the biological father because of the one night he spent with BLQ and does not know she was never pregnant.

The good deed that was done in order to protect this little girl could be what costs Maxie custody of yet another child. Years ago Ms. Jones miscarried when she was a surrogate for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna) and his wife LuLu (Emme Rylan). Soon after, she slept with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and immediately became pregnant again. Maxie passed the child off as belonging to the Falconeri’s and a custody battle ensued once the truth was revealed.

GH Spoilers – History Could Repeat Itself

The judge ruled in favor of Spinelli, the biological dad, and Dante and Lulu were crushed. Initially, Maxie could not see Georgie for 6 months and was later granted supervised visitation. It’s possible that baby Louise/Bailey could be caught up in a fierce custody battle and her mother’s past deeds could cost her another child. Assuming Peter August emerges unscathed from his current situation he might believe he should have all rights to his daughter while Valentin could argue that he has been raising the child and by law is the legal father. Maxie and BLQ may not have a leg to stand on since they set everything in motion.
