General Hospital Spoilers: A Search Of The Quartermaine Grounds Finds Michael In Possession Of Bullet Casings with A Target On His Back

General Hospital spoilers reveal the investigation into who killed FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) is about to be reinvigorated. While it’s unclear just how far things will get with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) confession, Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is suddenly asking herself a lot of questions she didn’t expect to surface at this point in the case. Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) surprised Anna by showing up at her office ready to spill the beans on information she has about the case, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) showed up just in time to silence her.

Now, whether Sonny cops to what he’s done or not, she may be left questioning whether the PCPD and feds are going after the wrong person yet again. Was Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) partial confession just a distraction from Kristina? Is Sonny’s the same — or something else? As the investigation takes the authorities back to the scene of the crime, Anna may be left with even more questions than answers.

General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Corinthos Davis Appears Guilty

It makes logical sense to Anna that Alexis was only trying to protect Kristina. She was willing to go to prison and be tried for a crime she didn’t commit, and no one thinks Alexis would go out on that limb for Sonny.

Kristina was just about to tell Anna it was her who drove her mother’s car to the Q mansion that night, but Michael cut her short of it. Anna can’t presume to know what Kristina was going to say, but it was clear that she was ready to be more forthcoming — and that this family is looking out for someone, with it appearing to be her.

Why else would Kristina’s other parent make any plan to confess to this crime unless they’re both trying to protect her? It hasn’t occurred to Anna that Alexis was only trying to protect Kristina from the optics, and from the reality that she broke the terms of her probation.

GH Spoilers – Hint Nothing Else Could Make Sonny Corinthos Step Forward

Moreover, there is no reason for the authorities to believe Sonny would ever confess to a crime — whether he has committed it or not — unless his family is on the line.

While he may consider Alexis to be part of such, it’s unlikely that he would take issue with her paying for his crimes if he hasn’t already — at least that’s how it looks from the PCPD’s point of view.

It’s not probable that anyone would matter enough to Sonny for him to turn himself over to the authorities for all the crimes he’s ever committed unless it boiled down to his kids.

General Hospital Spoilers — Maybe It’s Michael Corinthos

Kristina isn’t Sonny’s only child. While Alexis may have been quick to protect Kristina from herself, Sonny may not inherently be doing the same.

Sure, confessing and getting Alexis off the hook means Kristina won’t interfere to try to protect her mom, but they can’t rest assured that she won’t try to do the same to protect her dad — even though he did kill Cates.

That being said, if the police come across the bullet casings Michael collected after Sonny shot the FBI agent, then all bets are off. Will it look like Michael is guilty and that’s why Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) crafted the alibi they did — to deflect from him?

Will it make more sense that Michael was trying to stop Kristina from talking to Anna because he feared she would rat him out? Will it look like Sonny is confessing to protect Michael? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
