General Hospital Spoilers: A Surprise Is In Store — Another Late-Life Baby For Sonny?!

General Hospital spoilers report Ava Jerome (Maura West) hasn’t thought about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in ages. While their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola), is hardly a regret, these two have been fit to put the past behind them.

After all, it wasn’t either of their most prized behavior when Ava hooked up with Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) father when she was supposed to be in love with the younger version.

Times have changed. Morgan is long gone, and Sonny has managed to forgive Ava for the role she played in leading him to his untimely death.

However, Ava is Nina Reeves Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) best friend, and Sonny hasn’t forgotten that. It turns out he may manage to for the sake of a one-night stand on the island, but that one night will have long-standing consequences as Ava ends up expecting Sonny’s child — and just when Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is due to come home.

General Hospital Spoilers — Danger, Danger!

Sonny should have known better than to welcome Ava into his home after all she’s done to his family over the years.

Moreover, she is Nina’s best gal pal. Now that Nina is on the outs with Sonny, it’s got to be uncomfortable for Sonny to keep her around.

As they spend more time together on the island and continue to find themselves in danger, a sort of trauma bond might start to form between Ava and Sonny. All we’re saying is…it only takes one time.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Ava Jerome Is In For A Shock

The return home from the island and even discovering who has been targeting her and Sonny may be far less shocking in comparison to the two pink lines that show up when Ava takes a home pregnancy test. This is hardly what she had planned for this stage of her life.

Learning she’s carrying yet another one of Sonny’s children is going to put a serious cramp in her style – and in Sonny’s plans for the future.

If there was any chance he and Nina would be able to work things out, it would certainly be over if either of them knew. Will Ava keep the secret all to herself though? We think not.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Lie Starts Now

At the same time that Ava discovers she is with child, she’ll be reveling in the reality that Nikolas is home where she thinks he belongs.

She may be hoping for a reconciliation with him, and learning that she’s pregnant with another man’s baby is going to make it a lot more difficult to build that future with him.

Of course, Nikolas may be inclined to look past her hookup with Sonny if it means there is another secret on deck he can seize and use to keep Ava beholden to him.

Will Nikolas sign up to be her baby daddy and never tell Sonny the truth if it means she’ll give him another chance?
