General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Has Wanted To Have Children In The Past, But Now Her Health Is A Concern

Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember when Britt carried Lulu Spencer (most recently Emme Rylan) and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) embryo and became very attached to “Baby Ben” who of course is Rocco Falconeri (Brady and Beckett Bauer) after he was born. Britt was also very attached to little Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) as a little boy, so it really wouldn’t be that Britt wouldn’t want to have children, it’s just that now her health is a concern.

General Hospital viewers will recall a few months back when she was on the run with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in Canada, he convinced her to be tested for the gene for Huntington’s Disease since she was having symptoms of a tremor in her hand. It turned out the tremor wasn’t Huntington’s, but unfortunately she does have the gene, so for her, that pretty well kills the idea of ever having children or ever getting married, for that matter.

GH Spoilers – Was Austin Gatlin-Holt And Britt Westbourne’s Conversation A Hint Of Things To Come?

General Hospital viewers will recall from a recent episode of General Hospital where Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) talked to Britt about the death of her half-brother Peter August (Wes Ramsey), she was relieved to know their father’s “demented bloodline” had come to an end. General Hospital viewers could take that as a never-ever-ever statement that she didn’t want children, but longtime viewers who remember the “baby Ben” storyline know that wouldn’t be true – if it not for her worries about her Huntington’s Disease gene.

Austin, however, didn’t take her statement as a never-ever-ever would she ever want children statement – he shrugged, and said you never know; it’s possible that may be a hint of things to come! Sometimes soap writers have in mind the exact opposite of what storyline plans appear to be, for instance, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) acted like nothing romantic could ever happen between her and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) – only to end up in a steamy kiss at GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne’s Not Pregnant Now, But Could Be In The Future

General Hospital viewers know that Britt is not pregnant now, she’d be several months along with Jason’s baby if that was happening, but that doesn’t mean a special someone and special circumstances might not happen in the future. As for Britt’s concerns about her Huntington’s gene, remember that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) owns a lot of medical clinics, and quite possibly the one she and Jason visited in Canada.

Since Victor faked the Huntington’s Disease symposium that got Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) on a hijacked plane to Crete, he may have faked that Huntington’s Disease diagnosis for Britt as well and built on that to kidnap Liesl! It may have just been a stroke of luck that Jason and Britt showed up at one of Victor’s Canadian clinics; but the question now, if Britt does have a baby in the future, who’s might it be? Even though Britt doesn’t have a special someone right now, that could change – if things don’t work out for Austin with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) he and Britt could make a good fit, as well as Britt and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)!
