General Hospital Spoilers: After His Brush With Death, Cyrus Renault On A Road To Redemption?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) “out of body” experience will have him truly shaken up in the days and weeks ahead.

Since his stint in prison, he’s seemingly turned to God; however, it’s been hard for fans (and fellow Port Charlians) to truly believe that the former mob boss has turned a new leaf. He is, after all, a master manipulator, too. Will that all change, moving forward?

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Trying To Be A Better Person

Despite being hauled off to prison in the summer of 2021, Cyrus made sporadic appearances and still tried to wreak havoc on certain Port Charles residents for months, despite being behind bars.

With that said, it was during the spring-summer of 2022 that Renault got his hands on The Bible and began seeking God.

He seemed calmer after that. He seemed like a new Cyrus; however, it was hard for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to believe her half-brother’s true intentions as he had been a vile thorn in her side for so long.

Still, while behind bars, he did help Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) while he was in a pinch and in prison, so it did look like Cyrus was on the road to redemption.

GH Spoilers – Learning His Afterlife Fate Will Push Him To Become Better

It takes a lot more than just memorizing Bible verses to get to Heaven, and unless Cyrus wants to be locked behind bars in H-E- (double hockey sticks) for eternity, his brush with the afterlife was a major wake-up call.

From the sounds of it, Renault will be stepping up his Christian game to ensure he meets his Lord and Savior the next time death comes knocking at his door. This includes making things right with all those he did wrong.

Cyrus’s “road to redemption” will probably co-inside with Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) current gig in the slammer, but what great lengths will Renault go through to prove to his friends, family, and God that he’s a changed man?
