General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that beyond finding out the reason how Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) survived the tunnel collapse in Greece, and why he’s gunning for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the other mob bosses in Port Charles, what fans most want to know is who he’s going to be romantically linked to once he officially comes back. All roads lead to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and a Liason reunion.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Burton Will Reach Out To Elizabeth Webber, First
GH spoilers hint that Liz’s world will be flipped upside down when a person from her past shows up at her door. It’s almost guaranteed that if Jason reaches out to Liz first, he’ll likely jump into a romance with her.
This is the moment Liason fans have been waiting for, for a very long time. After all, the last the pair were linked together (not counting the time she was with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) believing she was really with Jason), was in 2008.
Actress Rebecca Herbst also revealed during a 2022 interview with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) that she found it hard to understand why GH writers never followed through with the Jason/Liz love story.
She also added that it was “amazing” to her that fans of the couple were still so supportive of Liason.
GH Spoilers – No Sam McCall? No Carly Spencer?
There are Jarly fans out there, and there are JaSam fans out there, so why not a “reunion” with either of these ladies?
Fans can’t exactly say it’s because they are in relationships, as Liz has a boyfriend in Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), too.
Well, JaSam doesn’t seem in the cards. Unlike Fiz, Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is a solid one; besides, Sam and Jason were a thing of the past well before he was presumed dead in 2021.
What about Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)? It’s not necessarily her romance with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
The fact that writers seem to be hinting at something between her and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington); but will Carly be able to easily jump into a relationship knowing that Jason is gunning for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
The mob boss will likely continue to be the elephant in the room for Jarly if they decide to become “more than” best friends.

For god’s sake!!! Its been years since Jason and Liz, and Jason and Sam, and Jason and Carly! Those boats have sailed, taken on water and sank!!!!! New love interest….PLEASE. Hell. Bring Britt back from the dead and let us see where that could have gone. You had a whole fan base rooting for them and ya killed that.

Geez, it IS possible for a man and woman to just be friends, or for her to help him not DIE, especially since he’s Jake’s dad, without becoming romantically involved! If it isn’t Sam, then he needs someone new, like Jordan or Natalia.
AND, anyone who actually watches, knows Jason is NOT gunning for Sonny! He deliberately messed up the others guys shot. And then he helped Dante, even risking getting caught to do it.
Jason belongs with Carly and no Liz and Jason shouldn’t be together that’s been played out she belongs with Finn Jason and Kylie is always had a special friendship and that should be able to play out matter of fact isn’t she still married to him they did get married!
A Liz/Jason pairing would not work well as Liz could not deal with Jason’s profession should he stay mob related. Liz needs a straight up type guy. Jason needs a pairing with someone who shares a little danger along the way. I know old pairings are not accepted by some, but the Carly/Sonny and Jason/Sam pairings were the best due to the men’s professions. Sure there were ups and downs and some dysfunction, but if there weren’t it wouldn’t be interesting for a soap. The same goes for every male possibly having been with every female at one time or another due to not having enough characters to go around with breakups. I feel Liz’s best pairing was with Franco and why it was decided he should be killed off is questionable to me.
just let Jason and Liz be friends. Carly and Jason were best friends let him go to her.
