Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) pay their respects. Diane is there if Carly ever needs her. Sonny speaks with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and thanks to her for her help. Liz tells Sonny how much he helped Mike.

Sonny couldn’t see his father for who he was for a long time. Sonny said it took this illness to see Mike for who he was.

Next on today’s General Hospital recap, Sonny says Mike was an amazing man and he is so proud of him. Sonny didn’t make it easy for him but he was there for him in the end just like Mike was there for him. Sonny will always be grateful for that. Sonny looks at Mike’s portrait and tells him he loves him.

General Hospital’s Jocelyn talks about Mike’s love for music. Jocelyn sings a song for Mike. Scenes of Mike’s time in Port Charles with his family and friend are shown. Mike is buried next to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Sonny needs some time and talks to his dad. Mike shows up and tells Sonny he had every right to his anger. Sonny says he never had a right to judge his father. Sonny should have respected his dad for coming back. Sonny argues that he didn’t say he loved him soon enough.

Mike tells Sonny he did everything he could. Mike says Sonny forgave him, now he needs to forgive himself. Mike says Sonny was with him to the end. Sonny made Mike very proud. Mike gets up to leave. Sonny is going to miss him. Mike kisses Sonny on the head and walks away. Mike will always be with him. Mike says I love you son and disappears into the light. Sonny says I love you too dad and starts to leave, Dante opens the door.
