General Hospital: Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Stella Henry (Vernee Watson)ABC General Hospital spoilers and recap for Wednesday, September 16, 2020, reveals Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) room. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) tells Sonny that Mike isn’t in pain but maybe waiting for permission to let go.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Sonny Corinthos Strives To Make Mike Corbin’s Passing Easier

Stella tells Sonny that Mike is between places right now and is fighting to stay with them. Once Mike passes he will be out of pain and whole again. Stella wants to look at this from the spiritual point of view. Sonny has to come to terms with letting Mike go. Stella wants to give Sonny some tips on making things more comfortable for Mike. Stella leaves and Sonny talks to Mike.

Sonny tells Mike that he knows he is waiting to hear that he forgives him for the past. Mike doesn’t need to worry about anything. Mike was a good man who got an addiction. Sonny didn’t understand before but does now. Sonny forgave Mike a long time ago.

Sonny mentions seeing Mike at confession one day and seeing the pain in his eyes. Sonny thinks of something to do for Mike and enlists Carly and Jason’s help. Sonny has a priest give Mike the last rights. Mike still continues to hold on. Jason offers to give Sonny a break but he refuses to leave. Jason tells Mike to do what he needs to do. Jason promises to be there for Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Brando Corbin Shares Memories Of Mike Corbin

General Hospital’s Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is outside getting some air. Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) joins Michael and give him an update on his son before sitting with her. Michael wishes this was over for his father’s sake. Michael wants his grandfather to be out of pain.

Michael wants his dad to stop hurting too. Willow believes Sonny is blessed to have this chance to say goodbye to his dad. Michael apologizes to Willow, this isn’t what she signed up for. Willow tells Michael their marriage isn’t going to be like this. Willow tells Michael that when they married they agreed to share a life together. Willow says Michael has taken care of her and she is there to take care of him. Michael and Willow go inside to join the family. Michael and Willow talk to Jocelyn.

Jocelyn knows there is something more out there because Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt) talked about being part of the universe when he passed. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) arrives and tells Jocelyn that butterflies are a sign that a past loved one is around. Brando wants to pay his respects to Mike, Michael invites him to join them. Stella joins them and they all talk about the afterlife. Brando talks about his time in Iraq and how he decided he wanted to live.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos And Jason Morgan Support Sonny Corinthos

General Hospital’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are in the waiting room at Turning Woods. Jocelyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) arrives and tells Carly and Jason that Mike understands more than they think. Jocelyn tells them about Mike giving her a thumbs-up earlier. Jason says that sounds like Mike. Jason offers to check on Sonny. Jocelyn asks how Carly is holding up. Carly believes this is best for Sonny because he’s not estranged from Mike.

Sonny gets to say goodbye and be there for his dad. Sonny tells Mike that he knows he is waiting to hear that he forgives him for the past. Mike doesn’t need to worry about anything. Mike was a good man who got an addiction. Sonny didn’t understand before but does now. Sonny forgave Mike a long time ago. Carly thanks the priest for coming on such short notice. The priest tells Carly how much Mike loved his family.
