General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Brando And Sasha Connect, He Saves Her From Cyrus And Drugs!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that there may be a new hot couple in Port Charles, NY soon. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) may connect with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as he tries to rescue her from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and drugs!

General Hospital Spoiler Updates

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sasha has become addicted to drugs, and from the looks of the little packets she’s been sneaking around with, it could be cocaine. She didn’t set out on the path of addiction, but as she has tried to cope with her heartbreaking split from Michael Corinthos, (Chad Duell) a woman associated with fashion shows gave her the first hit, and it was all downhill from there!

Many close to her or once close to her have noticed something off – but even Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) didn’t pick up on that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is using. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has and is trying to help her, but Sasha isn’t taking the help. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has also noticed and brought Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in the loop about Sasha and her addiction.

Cyrus Renault has taken a sudden interest in her, and that is what clued in Carly, seeing her at a table with Renault in the Metro Court. Unfortunately, Sasha will continue on her downhill spiral in spite of Nina and Carly trying to pull her out of it, but there may be someone else who can catch her attention as well as her eye – Brando Corbin! Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has also learned about the situation. He and Sonny talked about what he had learned about Sasha and Cyrus seem to connect, and Sonny came to the conclusion that Cyrus broke the truce they had. Sonny already knew Sasha had become addicted and connected her sitting with Cyrus at a table with his supplying her drugs. Brando had agreed to help Sonny and Jason in their plans to take Cyrus down by infiltrating his gang and reporting everything he learns back to Sonny.

Many General Hospital viewers have questioned if Brando was undercover DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) anyway, and this action seems to lend credence to their theories. Undoubtedly Sonny will talk about this situation with Sasha to Brando as well. Spoilers for November sweeps released by co-head writer Chris Van Etten indicate that a lot of big developments will shake Port Charles to its core, and Cyrus will be involved in quite a bit of the chaos!

He teases that Brando will indeed continue his undercover infiltration of Cyrus’ drug cartel and will cross paths with Sasha. Cyrus is probably sweet-talking Sasha as if he cares for her, but Brando will suspect ulterior motives. Brando himself has walked down that same dark path of addiction, and he will see the signs.

The question is, will he be able to help her without blowing his cover in the process? They certainly have enough in common to bond, and sparks could fly. Besides, didn’t we see something similar happening between Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) a couple of years ago? She helped him get clean of the drugs he was taking for the disease he had, Blackwood’s Syndrome and they fell in love in the process!
