ABC General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has promised to help Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) with her music career. Valentin got Brook out of her contract with her manager for her ELQ share. Will he give her a job to spite Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth).

General Hospital’s Ned was brutal with his daughter Brook when he found out she had sold her ELQ shares. Ned blamed Brook for the ELQ vote that denied the hospital funding. Ned blamed Brook for losing his job as CEO of ELQ. Ned was so mad that he threw her out of the family home even though he doesn’t own it. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleston) owns the Quartermaine family home. Her late husband Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) give it to her. Ned has no right to throw anyone, especially his daughter, out on the streets.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Is Now CEO

General Hospital’s Valentin is now the CEO of ELQ. Valentin knows how upset Brook is over this fiasco. Valentin plans to reassign both Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Ned Quartermaine to other jobs at ELQ. Could Valentin decide that Brook deserves a second chance after Ned’s treatment of her? After all, Ned forced Brook to work at ELQ which lead to her giving away a secret trade deal that got her fired.

Ned should have known that Brook wasn’t ready to have secretarial responsibilities at the company. However, Ned did not use good judgment that lost this deal for ELQ. Brook is in no way to blame for her oversight, she should never have been put in the position that Ned placed her in. Now that Valentin is CEO, he could rehire Brook and take the time to teach her the business, something Ned refused to do. Would Brook work at ELQ again?

General Hospital’s Brook is a singer, not a businesswoman. However, Brook needs some way to make money while waiting for her musical career to take off. Valentin has Brook working with Deception. However, Brook’s music career may take longer to take off than they think. Brook needs a way to support herself now that she has no home. Brook is going to need an apartment, food, and other necessities. Valentin may see this and offer her a job. Valentin may even make Brook his secretary and train her right, unlike her father. Valentin doesn’t seem to care for Ned and could do anything to spite him.

If General Hospital’s Valentin gives Brook a job, she will at least be working for the family company. Brook could learn all there is to know about ELQ while trying to launch her music career. Will Brook succeed at ELQ under Valentin’s guidance?
