General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors: Cyrus Renault And Nikolas Cassadine Work Together?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will have a frank conversation in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap opera, and Cyrus will offer Nikolas a deal!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Becomes Aware That Ava Jerome Cassadine Is Being Targeted

General Hospital viewers will recall that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) appears to be the target of more and more frightening and bizarre gifts, most of them being downright morbid.

GH recaps and spoilers reveal Nikolas clashed with Cyrus, thinking that perhaps he was playing mobster and sending these gifts and sick poetry that comes with them as “mob messages”, since Cyrus was the one who ultimately caused Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) death by tricking him into blowing up The Floating Rib. That led to a series of poor choices for Julian, from trying to flee into Canada and perhaps intending to fake his death – even Ava couldn’t help her brother because he ignored any advice she gave!

Cyrus’ hit men followed him at the same time Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did – resulting in Julian’s death and Sonny’s presumed death. Nikolas and Ava have been trying to figure out who is targeting her, and since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) supposedly is paralyzed and cannot even speak, they cannot even comprehend that he could have an accomplice helping him; how would he communicate to the accomplice what he wants done?

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Cyrus isn’t behind what is happening in this case, or at least he claims not to be. After all, this is his half-nephew’s wife, even though Nikolas certainly doesn’t claim him. But that is Cyrus’ reasoning to Nikolas, and he claims not to have known Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was his niece until after the explosion.

Of course, Cyrus is likely feigning his concern for Ava when Nikolas explains what is going on. Cyrus was amused at the story of the cockroach encased in Plexiglas although he agreed the note that came with it sounded rather threatening. He offers Nikolas a deal – Cyrus has a wide network of “supporters” that can find out who is behind the morbid packages and bizarre “poetry” that comes with them.

He’s like Santa Claus – because of the many minions he has, he knows when people are sleeping, he knows when they’re awake, he knows if they’ve been bad or good, and he knows what steps to take!

Nikolas is a little skeptical on General Hospital – what’s in it for Cyrus? For Cyrus’ part, he is not well versed in dealing with Cassadines, even if Nikolas is partly his flesh and blood through his half-sister and Nikolas’ mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis)! Cyrus explains himself more fully – he is not offering a “protection racket” like a mobster might do.

But he does know that Nikolas is pretty skilled in hiding, he faked his own death for over five years and managed to stay undetected while he was trying to get his inheritance back from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Cyrus thinks that Nikolas may be able to find out where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) moved his mother and in exchange, he will find out who is targeting Ava and make sure they are exposed so they can be “dealt with”. Nikolas says he will think about it!
