General Hospital Spoilers and Rumors: Martin Double Crosses Valentin, Cyrus Takes Over ELQ?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal in Port Charles, NY Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is comfortable in his place at ELQ. Unfortunately, Valentin could soon learn that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has double-crossed him. Spoilers suggest that Martin has a sorted tale to tell Valentin. Martin could really shake up Valentin’s world.

Valentin Used A Shell Company

General Hospital’s Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had Martin (Michael E. Knight) to set up a shell company to buy up ELQ stocks. However, Martin may have let Valentin believe he had control over ELQ until the moment is right to strike. Martin didn’t want any part of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) life, however, he may owe him for taking care of their mother. Cyrus could have easily agreed to pick up the tab for their mother’s care on the stipulation that Martin repays him in a big way someday. Could Cyrus have insisted that Martin make it look like Valentin bought the ELQ shares only to have put the stock in his name instead?

Cyrus Wants To Control Port Charles

General Hospital’s Cyrus wants to control everything in Port Charles that he can. Cyrus controls the hospital and ELQ is a multinational conglomerate. Cyrus could use ELQ’s various businesses to further his drug business in Port Charles. ELQ controls several businesses giving Cyrus access to shipping options and other ways to push his drug business. Taking over ELQ could also eliminate one more family from trying to take him down. Cyrus has already fired Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleston) from the hospital, taking over ELQ would be another hit against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) son as well.

Martin Wanted Revenge

Perhaps Martin wanted revenge against Valentin for firing him. After all, General Hospital’s Valentin was Martin’s biggest client. Now that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was hurt, Martin spoke his mind one too many times causing Valentin to react. Valentin may miss having Martin as his lawyer, but Martin is also hurt by Valentin’s choice to fires him. Valentin could have simply chastised Martin instead of going that far, however, he chose not to beat around the bush. Valentin may have wanted his daughter to himself but he never tried to kill Lulu and wouldn’t do that either. Has Martin gotten the ultimate revenge?

General Hospital’s Martin isn’t loyal to anyone except himself. Martin has learned that looking out for number one is very important and he isn’t about to stop now. Has Martin stolen ELQ right out from under Valentin’s nose? Will Valentin go after Martin if he reveals this to be the case? Will Valentin or the Quartermaines ever get control back if Cyrus takes over ELQ

Now that we know that Martin is Cyrus’s brother I wouldn’t be surprised if Martin has been playing Valentin. I think Martin is the one who kidnapped TJ he said to Mac that his kidnapper had a southern accent.

Not another threat against ELQ and especially by Cyrus. Hopefully this spoiler wont' be factual. Cyrus has enough of PC with his being in charge of GH and now ELQ?? Martin's talk with Valentin today was interesting, but much too cut and dry. I was hoping that Martin would turn out to be a good guy, but it looks likes he may be the man behind Cyrus with sheep's clothing.
It seems as though Martin nor Cyrus can be trusted at this time. Don't like the Laura connection to these two at this time.
