ABC General Hospital spoilers and update suggest that shockingly, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) might not be an arch-criminal after all! GH viewers could be blown away in the future should it be discovered that Peter’s actually an undercover operative for the World Security Bureau (WSB), and is genuinely a good guy.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August’s Undercover

What if everything GH fans thought they knew about Peter August was completely false? What if all the murders, attempted murders, obstruction of justice, and all the other crimes Peter conducted were all done out of a need to maintain his cover as an undercover spy? What if everything Peter has done as part of an operation designed to gather intelligence on the real arch-criminal, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)?

Well, wouldn’t Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) know about Peter and any operation of the WSB’s with which Peter might be involved? Not necessarily, considering the fact that it’s well known that spy agencies like the WSB and DVX often have departments within departments … compartmentalized and with no knowledge of the other. It’s entirely possible then that Peter might have been part of a “black ops” section of the WSB, of which Anna and Scorpio knew nothing!

GH Spoilers – Peter August’s Not With the WSB

While that theory concerning Peter and the WSB sounds intriguing, there are too many holes in it. That’s especially true if other theories, such as the idea that Peter is really the son of Anna and Scorpio and not of Anna and Faison, are correct. Instead, another theory about Peter’s past might hold more water.

The idea that Peter’s spy might still be true. However, instead of working as a deep undercover spy for the WSB, Peter’s is the tragic story of a DVX spy who’s been desperately searching for a way out. Under the evil orders of those higher up at DVX, Peter has done a lot of scheming, knocking rivals off, and doing a lot of other bad guy stuff. However, everyone has seen him try over and again to redeem himself in one way or the other.

Mightn’t it be possible that Peter’s criminal activity has never been about felonious undertakings for the sake of money, power, or prestige? Mightn’t Peter’s actions have been about seeking an escape from the invisible control of an evil spy organization? Some GH fans think so.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Does Whatever It Takes

The bottom line, for now, is that GH fans can only go by what they know. That means Peter is the son of Cesar Faison. Peter’s a criminal who’s tried to murder his own father. He’s a man who has committed attempted murder and murder and then worked to frame Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gotti) for those crimes.

While it’s true that Peter’s motivations may be about escaping his past and finally living a normal life, he’s still guilty of a lot of evil. Theories about Peter’s involvement with either the WSB or the DVX cannot entirely excuse his past.

What most GH viewers may be able to agree upon, however, is the fact that if Peter wants a normal life with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), he’s going to have to do whatever it takes to get the law off his scent because as it stands, Scorpio just might be closing in for the kill.

      I have thought for a long time that Peter was a spy. It would make sense for him to be one. In his book The Severed Branch his character was a spy that was trying to take down his evil spy father. The book was practically an autobiography. It would also explain how Peter is able to get so many things done so quickly. He seems to have a lot of connections to people in high places. If Peter was a spy then it would help to explain the situation with Drew. He could have arranged for it to look like he died to protect him. Drew could be in protective custody with the WSB. He may have done the other dark things to keep his cover with whatever the case is that he is working on. If that is the case then I feel that everyone would understand what he has been doing. I like this because Anna is a spy. It would make them a mother and son spy team. It would also surprise Robert too. He would be alright with Peter because he was a spy and he understands that world. It would also make it more than alright for Maxie to be expecting Peter’s child. Peter would be a spy like her father Frisco is. I believe that this is the best things that could be for everyone. It would be fun to get to see Peter and others get involved in some big spy adventure. I think that it work too if he was spy for the DVX. He could have had to do bad things for them like what happened to Drew. Then Anna and Robert could work to try to get Peter out of the DVX so he can be free to be with Maxie and the baby.
