General Hospital Spoilers: Are Ava And Jason The Next Big Supercouple?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been back in Port Charles now for several months and still hasn’t found romance. Before he disappeared, Jason and Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) were on the cusp of a new relationship.

But then Jason was presumed dead, and Britt later died, killed by Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Now that Jason’s back, he really doesn’t seem interested in getting involved with any of his exes.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan Is Still Very Single

Now that Jason is no longer under the thumb of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington), he can focus on getting his life back.

While his friendships with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have finally been restored, his relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has been strained at best.

Sam doesn’t want their son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) anywhere near Jason because of Jason’s dangerous lifestyle. Sam has also moved on with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna).

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Divorced Nikolas Cassadine

Meanwhile, Ava Jerome (Maura West) divorced Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who is now serving time in prison out of state. She moved in with Sonny for a while, but that wasn’t romantic. But even that’s over now, as is her brief fling with Cates, who is now dead anyway.

Cates actually hired a hitwoman named Boyles (Amor Owens) to kill Ava. Luckily Jason located Ava in time to save her. But could this experience bond them enough to pursue a new romance? As unlikely as it seems, it could actually happen!

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan and Ava Jerome Have A Lot In Common!

Both Jason and Ava have ties to the mob. Jason has spent years as Sonny’s enforcer and right-hand man while Ava was member of the Jerome crime family. They’ve both killed and understand that lifestyle.

Ava would never judge Jason for his work with Sonny and Jason might be willing to look past Ava’s darker impulses. But if they do embark on a new romance, look for opposition to come from pretty much everyone who knows and loves them.

Jason especially would have to defend Ava to Carly, Sonny and Sam just for starters. But the heart wants what it wants and it’s possible that Ava and Jason could suddenly find romance even as incompatible as they seem at first glance.
