General Hospital spoilers leak Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is going to prison. As he and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) poured over all of their options, none of them turned up a chance for them to stay together and evade the SEC charges entirely.

One of them needed to go down for this crime. Drew decided — unilaterally — that it was best if he was the one to go to prison. Carly wasn’t a fan of his plan, and that’s precisely why he didn’t tell her about it until he had already submitted his plea to the judge. But now that the judge has rendered a far harsher sentence than Drew and Carly expected, it has turned their relationship on its head.

Carly actually committed the crime she was charged with. Drew did not. Yet he’s the one serving time for the next two years of his life — two years that he won’t see his little girl. How would Carly feel if that was her? Honestly, nobody really needs to clap back at Carly – she will already be putting herself through the wringer.
