General Hospital Spoilers: As Sonny’s Whole Family Turns On Him, The Don Turns Back Into His Old Self

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family is about to turn on him from every angle, and it is going to unleash a wrath from Sonny we haven’t seen in years. Josslyn’s ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) unexpected visit to Sonny’s office left him feeling skeptical about her request. She had asked him to fire Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), but Sonny believed it was Dex’s decision alone to ask for his freedom.

Little does Sonny know, Joss was putting her best foot forward in trying to make nice with him after she spent months keeping Dex’s and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) secret — they were going to take Sonny down and get him thrown behind bars for the rest of his life.

If that isn’t bad enough, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is going to end up conspiring with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to take Sonny’s empire away from him just the same. Then, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will finally get what’s coming to her when the truth comes out that she is the person who reported Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC — a hit that will break Sonny’s heart. Speaking of Carly, she might be the only person who is really in the mafioso’s corner as she continues to resist turning him in to save herself. Get ready for a series of hard hits and revelations that leave Sonny looking more like his pre-Nixon Falls self — finally.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos’s Personal Life Unravels

For starters, Sonny is soon going to find out what his loved ones have been up to behind his back. Michael and Joss have been conspiring to send the old man to prison for the rest of his life — robbing their little sisters of knowing the father they love and cherish. Carly is starting to suspect something is up with her kids, but she hasn’t figured it out yet. When she does, she may be the one to run and tell Sonny — further affirming that she’s on his side. Then, Sonny will learn it was his own fianceé, Nina, who turned his ex-wife and Drew into the SEC for insider trading. Is there any way to recover this relationship after learning of her deception? Probably not, because Sonny isn’t going to want her anymore. But that doesn’t mean it won’t sting.

GH Spoilers – Suggest The Business Comes Apart At The Seams

Dealing with problems on the homefront is going to be difficult enough, but then Sonny is going to be hit twice as he deals with problems in the business. He thought Dex was on his side — a new right-hand man he could rely on to carry Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) torch, but as it turns out, it was all a lie. Rumor has it Sonny might not figure out Dex’s involvement in betraying him at the same time that he learns of Michael’s plans to capture him, but these revelations won’t be spaced far apart.

It’s all going to feel like it’s tumbling down on Sonny at one time. When he also learns the hard way that Gladys twisted the knife Dex put in his back by getting her paws on that Pikeman footage and forking it over to Selina, he won’t have time to put the pieces of his business back together at the pace at which they start to come apart. Selina will be destined for a takeover and Sonny may be powerless to stop it. Is this the end of the line for Sonny’s reign of power in Port Charles?
