General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Asher Antonyzn has hit the ground running as a recast, teenage Danny Morgan. Danny is the son of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and he’s giving his mom fits as father and son re-bond after years apart.

Despite Antonyzn being a newbie to the show, he and Burton have brought an immediate warmth to the screen as father and son.

It’s clear that Danny adores his dad, and Jason could not love his son any more than he already does. Except that he did leave him to save Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) bacon, but that’s another story for another time.

Antonyzyn’s Instagram post shows him reading a GH script, and there’s a candid shot of him with Burton. He captioned the post: “Can’t wait for you all to see the scenes @1steveburton and I worked so hard on.”

The summer looks to be a hot one in Port Charles, New York, not the least of which is because Sam is not sure she wants Danny emulating his dad.
