General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Confronts Mason, Where Was He When Ava Was Attacked?

General Hospital: Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth)General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will have some pointed questions for his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). He’ll ask him more questions about where Mason was the night Ava Cassadine (Maura West) was attacked.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin Followed Ava Cassadine

Viewers will recall that Ava overheard Mason and Austin talking together the day of the Quartermaine picnic, and Mason feared she heard confidential information. Mason followed Ava and Austin went after him, but they returned with Mason appearing to have lost track of her after Austin having told him to leave it alone. However, there may have been a period of time when Austin and Mason got separated, and Austin may become more suspicious of Mason.

There is also additional information that Austin may be privy to regarding the two additional victims regarding the snake venom used on the hook after Ava survived. He won’t divulge that, but he knows that Mason might know things about snakes and their venom, being from rural Pautauk, NY as he is-he suspects Mason is “The Hook”.

GH Spoilers – Random Targets?

Mason appeared to have a specific purpose for trying to go after Ava, but the additional victims seem to be out of pattern. Ava, a blonde, Brando Corbin, (Johnny Wactor) a man, Diane Miller, (Carolyn Hennesy) a redhead, and Mason doesn’t know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But the Port Charles Police and the rest of the doctors at GH don’t know Mason like Austin does; Mason could be a killer and have killed this way before. The only victim that saw the attacker was Brando, and he’s not around to give any more details, he was able to say he heard jingling, like bangle bracelets. There has to be a very specific reason that Austin has been fearing for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her family, and telling Austin to stay away from them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Where Was He?

Mason would not have been able to go back and finish Ava off simply because Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has put his henchman as a guard at her door. If snake venom is a past weapon of choice for Mason, when he went after Ava it was spur of the moment and the hook was a weapon of opportunity. Austin confronts Mason only at first about Ava because he knows there was a time they were separated that night and wants to know where he was.

Ava was attacked from the back, so there would have been no blood spatter on Mason but Austin wants an account of the time. Perhaps Mason didn’t attack the other two but Austin might be suspicious because of the venom, and might know his cousin has a tropical snake.
