General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Is Blackmailed Into Holding Ava Hostage To “Prove Himself”

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint fans should brace themselves for a stunning plot twist. As of this writing, it seems that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) has kidnapped Ava Jerome (Maura West). He and boss Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) believe that Ms. Jerome squealed to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about their plan (which she did), and now she must pay.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt Is Blackmailed

GH spoilers for the week of October 9th reveal that Ava’s loved ones will start to wonder where she is, so she’ll clearly “disappear” in the days ahead. Added teasers suggest that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will be blackmailed.

There’s a good chance that Ava’s still alive. She’s a survivor, and a staple in the land of Port Charles, so it’s unlikely that she’s already been killed.

Mason has probably kidnapped her from Wyndemere and will torture her to get information before he finishes the job.

Then again, she could be used as ransom against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Either way, Mason will need help to execute all this, which is where Austin comes in.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault & Mason Gatlin Need Proof That Austin Gatlin-Holt Is Loyal

Mason will likely blackmail Austin with the same old, same old. As the good doctor has performed many illegal tasks over the years, his cousin will just dangle this evidence above his head and threaten he’ll head to the hospital board with it.

Austin needs to keep up his image at GH (and Port Charles overall), so he’ll do whatever Mason asks, as per the usual. This will probably entail keeping Ava at his house, but could it include more? Could Mason ask Austin to kill Ava, once they’ve gotten everything, they need from her?
