General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) could be the next big super couple in Port Charles. Let’s unpack all the potential this twosome has when it comes to sizzling scenes in the future.

General Hospital spoilers note that Ethan and Ava shared some interesting scenes during the Monday, May 11 episode.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brought his new right-hand man along as he was on a mission to interrogate Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst). Sonny had caught Ric in a couple of lies and was worried that his generally sketchy brother was about to turn on him.

Totting a gun, Sonny and Ethan ambushed Ava and Ric at the art gallery. Sonny wanted the truth from Ric, so he asked Ethan to take Ava somewhere else. Ethan held Ava hostage in the car while Sonny got answers.

The good news was that Ric came clean and wasn’t up to no good; he was looking to score an art piece to impress Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Meanwhile, sparks flew left, right, and center between Ava and Ethan in the car as the two bantered back and forth.

Chemistry Test Passed!

Was the scene between Ava and Ethan a chemistry test? After all, he’s single, and she’s single. It was interesting because Ava also made it clear that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was nothing more than a friend during the scene, almost implying that she wanted to make it clear that she wasn’t attached to anyone.

While it is true – she and Sidwell aren’t officially a thing – for weeks now, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Ava have been having a romantic tug-of-war where Jenz is concerned.

Still, Ethan diving into a romance with Ava would make his work life complicated. Not only is Ava one of Sonny’s baby mommas, but the mob boss has a disdain for his daughter’s mother and doesn’t trust her. If Ethan gets involved with Ava, will he hide it from Sonny?
