General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Could Fall For Austin…If He Comes Clean

General Hospital spoilers tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) fell into bed with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) just once, and that was apparently enough for her.

Since then, Austin has made some flirtatious moves in her direction, and Ava continues to shoot him down.

She has bigger fish to fry right now as she worries the truth could come out about what she did to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

Moreover, until recently, a sociopath had been entrusted to care for Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) and it kept Ava up at night with anxiety.

Romance is the last thing that’s been on her mind but Ava has a tendency to fall for men who come to her rescue — and Austin certainly has on more than one occasion.

The next time he serves to calm her down, will she thank him in spades?

General Hospital Spoilers — Austin Gatlin Holt Hasn’t Been Transparent

Ava isn’t new to being played like a pawn. She knows something doesn’t smell right with Austin and his shady family.

He’s never been fully transparent with her. Refusing to even tell her who the enemy is that she is up against has driven Ava to reach out to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help instead.

Austin could allay so many of her fears and yet he keeps her in the dark. As much as he says they’re in this together, Ava knows better.

GH Spoilers – Say Their Sizzle Is About To Fizzle

Rumor has it Austin and Ava are going to fizzle out fast before their romance can ever really take flight. Unless Austin really steps it up and draws her in, appealing to her in some new way, we aren’t likely to see any sparks flying here between these two.

Nothing gets Ava’s juices flowing more than conspiring and feeling like someone has her back. But having something on him to hold over his head so that they’re bound to each other doesn’t hurt either as far as she’s concerned.

Austin has refrained from telling Ava the truth about who is ordering him around, and now that we know it’s Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), we can just imagine how she would feel if she knew.

Moreover, it’s likely she would run straight to Sonny, who would put the kibosh on him for good. That being said, there’s a chance Austin will come clean with Ava — but only after they’ve really opened the door for their feelings for one another.
