General Hospital spoilers hint Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was lonely the moment she arrived back on Spoon Island and walked into the great room of Wyndemere. It’s quiet, and there is no husband greeting her and welcoming her home.

Instead, this home feels more like a prison of memories, and she doesn’t quite know how she will erase them and move on with her life if she’s drowning in her past.

A remodel may be in order, but Ava might find a new way she can revamp her home and make herself feel less alone. She just has to welcome someone else on board. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is going to be that someone else.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Cassadine Needs A Stable Family Home

If Spencer is going to win custody of his father’s child over his father in a court, he’s going to need a pretty compelling reason. No judge is going to grant custody to someone who isn’t the child’s father unless that father can be proven to be unfit.

Of course, it will also be Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) aim to convince the judge that Spencer is equally as unfit.

The basic needs of a child demand a stable home, and that’s something Spencer can’t offer up — even though he is crashing with his uncle for now — who is a known mobster in town. Ava knows she has a better alternative and plenty of space to help Spencer out.

When Ava welcomes Spencer to move back into Wyndemere, he will be stunned and taken aback. He might pause to seriously consider what it would be like to live with Ava again — something he didn’t relish the first time around when his father was still coupled up with her.

However, he and Ava haven’t only made amends recently, they’ve formed an alliance. Living with her could be just the ticket to prove he’s the only Cassadine by blood who is still residing in his family home and that Nikolas’ child would be better off there.

Living together might not pan out for the sake of Nikolas’ child, and we all know even if Spencer does get custody, there will most certainly be an au pair on board. However, he and Ava will have plenty of time to commiserate over Nikolas and all he’s done to them.
