General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Struggles To Cut Ties With Victor — and Someone Swoops In to Save Her From Herself

General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is tying up loose ends and preparing to move on with her life from the disaster of a marriage she had with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

Ava isn’t interested in settling any more scores. When she handed Nik’s confession to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to do with it whatever he chose, she meant it; she was ready to wash her hands of the whole mess.

So she won’t take kindly to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) trying to pull her back into it. What does he want, and who is going to intervene just in time to stop Ava from backpedaling into her marriage?

When Victor finds out his nephew, Nikolas, forked over the family compound on Spoon Island in his divorce proceedings to Ava, he will be fuming mad. Much of his interest in originally coming back to Port Charles was not only to take down his family so he could reign supreme at the top of the family tree, but to claim what he believes he is entitled to — the family fortune.

He has long felt that the Cassadine estate on Spoon Island was a part of that. How is he going to get Ava to loosen her grip on her parting gift from her marriage?

Lucky for Victor, Ava is in dire straits and in need of someone’s help if she’s going to be able to get out of the mess she’s in. Of course, Victor might lend a hand in helping her crush Nikolas in the divorce proceedings, but when he realizes Ava is in a pinch herself, he might take things a step further. After all, he was only warming to her in an attempt to eventually lure her into giving up the Cassadine castle.

But when he realizes she is actually in over her head hiding Nikolas’ body, he will stoop to a new low, even for Victor. When Victor figures out he can actually manipulate his way back into Wyndemere, that’s just what he’ll do — only offering to keep Ava’s secret if she promptly exits the castle and leaves it in his care. How will she ever explain that move to Spencer and Laura Collins (Genie Francis)?
