So what bombs could Heather drop? How about one about her true paternity? Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is dead will Esme find out that he is not really her bio father?

There was no DNA proof that Ryan was Esme’s bio dad, so it’s possible Heather lied. Esme has a keepsake from Ryan’s chain, but what does that actually prove?

It could be that Heather pretended Ryan was the father due to her infatuation with him. And by the time Ryan died, Heather had turned against him. So if she lied, there’s no reason not to come clean now, as he can’t hurt her.

If Esme’s biological father turns out to be someone else there are plenty of soapy routes to take with this plot. At the time of her conception, who knows what Heather was doing and with whom?
