This week GH showed fans a stunning visual of the necklace, and it was with someone quite unexpected. Could it be that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is actually Nina’s long-lost daughter?

As GH fans know, Nina has been looking at her half of the necklace, wondering if her daughter, who supposedly has the other half, could still be alive. At this rate, everyone but Nelle will have seen Nina moaning over the piece of jewelry!

In a dramatic flashback, young Carly (Eden McCoy) confronted adoptive father Frank (James Patrick Stuart) with young Nelle present. He was a cad who deserted her as a child. Later, in the present time, Nelle reminded Carly of this past encounter.

Fans had been speculating like mad that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) might be Nina’s biological daughter, and the show has been good at throwing hints out that indicate just about anyone might be her child, leaving wide open a major mystery that has captivated viewers.

Has the mystery now been solved?

This week there seemed to be no uncertainty as to Nelle’s DNA when she opened a box that contained Carly’s baby rattle, which we have seen her with before. But this time we also saw the half-heart necklace at the bottom of the box.

What could this epic reveal mean? Could it be that Frank is connected to Nina’s mother Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills)?

At this point everything is speculation. So far TPTB at GH have kept fans guessing, and we may have to continue to do so for the time being.

Although it appears a slam dunk that Nelle is Nina’s daughter, anything is possible! What we do know is that Nelle is working for Nina and Nina is working to take her down big time. Is this any way to start a mother-daughter relationship?!
