General Hospital Spoilers: Six Suspects In Serious Trouble After Brennan’s Death!General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) death was confirmed in the episode on Tuesday, September 1, when the body found in the Metro Court Pool was identified as the WSB chief.

His shocking death may also bring unforeseen consequences for many residents of Port Charles.

Ava Jerome

Ava Jerome (Maura West) drugged Brennan, and now with him gone, who faces the biggest fallout-Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who ordered the act, is also in the mix.

Ava is definitely at the forefront-to gain Drew’s assistance with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Ava reluctantly distracted Jack while Drew searched the WSB chief’s hotel room.

This involved giving Jack a sleeping pill, which may have unintentionally caused his death; In a panic to hide their actions, Ava and Drew decided to dispose of the body. Despite warnings about Drew, Ava might soon realize this was her gravest error.

To complicate things, Ava was seen with Jack on the pool deck just before his demise, putting her in the PCPD’s sights if an investigation arises into his last moments.

Drew Cain

Desperate to obtain the evidence that Jack had been using to blackmail him-proof of embezzling federal funds for his Congressional campaign-Drew took extreme measures to undermine the hotel’s security system.

This would allow him to sneak into Brennan’s room without being noticed while Ava kept the WSB chief occupied. Although Drew failed to secure the evidence, Jack’s death might provide him with a moment of relief, at least for now.

However, if an investigation into Brennan’s death occurs, that evidence could resurface, and Ava is aware of its existence, a piece of information she could leverage to protect herself.

When Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) searched Brennan’s room, Jason noticed someone didn’t cover their tracks!

Nina Reeves

Nina (Cynthia Watros) might have started a romantic relationship with Jack, but she was also caught publicly threatening him at the Metro Court Gardens just before his death.

Among those who witnessed her outburst was Carly, her sworn enemy, who would likely relish the opportunity to frame Nina as a potential suspect in a murder case!

Additionally, there were numerous other credible witnesses who were drawn in by Nina’s loud behavior!

Given that she had previously pushed Drew into a lake, it wouldn’t be a huge leap to think she could have pushed Jack into a pool!

That is, once his body is found-Drew and Ava removed it from the Metro Court and Drew was going to bury it outside of Port Charles.

Willow Tait

In public, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) appeared to support Jack by leveraging her congressional position to secure funding for the WSB. However, behind the scenes, her motivation was to prevent Jack from disclosing that she was responsible for shooting and later drugging Drew.

When Jack warned her that he would expose her if she failed to provide the necessary funds for the WSB, Willow discreetly recorded their conversation on her phone, intending to use it as leverage in the future.

She believed she was gaining an advantage over a powerful figure. But that recording could potentially connect her to Jack in a manner that would attract the attention of investigators.

Josslyn Jacks

Jack brought Josslyn (Eden McCoy) into the WSB and served as her supervisor at the bureau, occasionally bending the rules to safeguard her. Losing him as her boss will be a significant setback, but Brennan’s passing might also complicate Joss’s mysterious new role.

He had recently instructed her to assume the position of CEO at her father’s company, Jasper Jacks Enterprises, despite being unable to clarify why the WSB needed her there.

With Brennan now deceased, could Joss start to suspect that his death is linked to her new assignment? And as a WSB agent, will she have the authority to investigate his death officially, or will she need to operate outside the law?

Charlotte Cassadine

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) was already shaken after encountering Jack’s lifeless body while swimming. However, her situation could deteriorate further if the bracelet she misplaced at the pool is found caught in the cuff of Brennan’s jacket.

Despite Brennan being an adversary of her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), it’s improbable that anyone would suspect the teenager of having a hand in Jack’s demise.

But if that body is discovered adorned with her jewelry, she’ll have a lot to clarify. Additionally, she must ensure that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) remains uninvolved so that no one discovers he was with her when they stumbled upon- and quickly escaped from- the crime scene.
