Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t like it when he learns that his ex-wife, and mother of his daughter Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) is dating Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) and send Brick to break them up!

Has Anyone Ever Tried Telling Carly Anything And Successfully Changed Her Mind?

Sonny has known her long enough and been married to her enough times to know better than that, Carly does what she wants and to heck with others’ opinions!

Sonny is coming from the standpoint of a father, knowing about how many times Valentin went on the run and how Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) grew up a lot of times on the run.

Sonny also knows how many people in Port Charles have it out for Valentin and seems to conveniently forget how many people have had it out for him!

But he decides not to confront her directly over her dating-and living with-Valentin all those months, it was bad enough when she was with Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna), so he talks to Brick.

Sonny knows Carly trusts Brick, but will she even listen to him-he tells him to do a deep dive on Valentin’s most egregious crimes from the past.

Sonny knows right now, with his romance with Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) ramping up, interfering in his ex-wife’s love life wouldn’t go well.

But he does know from the short time he was married to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that Valentin hurt her badly-especially faking a long-lost daughter.

But the way that turned out, she’d have been better off with Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) continuing to play her fake daughter than the two real ones she’s had!

Carly, As Predicted, Doesn’t Break Up With Valentin-Brick’s Intel Doesn’t Faze Her

Carly, as predicted, doesn’t break up with Valentin over things in his past, Brick’s intel doesn’t faze her-she knows most of it anyway, Valentin told her!

One thing in particular that she tells Brick to pass on to Sonny, already having suspected Sonny put him up to it, is that one thing she knows-Valentin is an excellent father.

He may have been an unconventional father, but she knows Charlotte very well, and they both know Valentin would never put her in any danger-although she’s gotten into some on her own!

When Brick reports back to Sonny about this attempt to break Carly and Valentin up, Sonny goes back to the drawing board-he may have to take extreme measures!
