General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Begs Jason For Help To Get Out From Under Cyrus’ Control?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease in Port Charles, NY Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is in way over her head. As viewers know, Britt has taken over the Chief of Staff position at General Hospital, replacing the beloved Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). Monica, along with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) was let go once drug lord Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) became the new Chairman of the Board of the hospital. One of Cyrus’ first acts in that position was to hire Britt.

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Britt Westbourne Return To Port Charles

While many in Port Charles are quite to believe the worst about Britt, it seems that there is more to the story than anyone knows. It doesn’t appear that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) is involved with Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) plans, at least not outright. But something happened while Britt was away that made the Chief of Staff position easy. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) seems to be the only person to realize that Britt isn’t the bad guy here. So why then is Britt working for Cyrus at the hospital, knowing his past history?

Perhaps Cyrus knows something about Britt that she doesn’t want to be exposed. If Cyrus threatened to reveal Britt’s secrets to the world, then Britt may have no choice but to follow Cyrus’ commands. Or perhaps Cyrus has threatened someone that Britt cares for. But who would that be? There seems to be a couple of options here. The most obvious choice is Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Cooper’s May Need Protection In Prison

Britt’s best friend is Brad. But Brad made some really bad decisions when he agreed to take part in the baby swap scheme initiated by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Perhaps Brad has been threatened in prison and confided in Britt. Maybe Cyrus agreed to keep brad safe as long as Britt worked for him. And if Britt refused, Cyrus may very well have threatened to kill Brad. We’ve seen that Cyrus still has reached Pentonville since he just ordered the stabbing of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) who is another resident in the prison. Another possibility is that Cyrus made similar threats against Britt’s mom, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht! (Kathleen Gati)
