Josslyn Gave Cassius Quite A Wallop When Struggling To Get Away
In the episode airing on Monday, May 4 Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gave Cassius quite a wallop with a large wooden candlestick to the side of his face, while struggling to get away.
He had basically ignored every piece of advice that his sister, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) gave him after busting Josslyn to him as a WSB agent-she told him to avoid her.
He did anything but-he headed over to the apartment she shares with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and grabbed her arm, telling her he couldn’t let her go, after a short conversation.
Josslyn, having been told about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) memorable Fourth of July experience being handcuffed together, decided to test “Nathan’s” memory.

Having flunked the test, she tried to leave, he said he couldn’t let her go, addressing her “Agent Jacks” – she tries to talk him down, but wound up having to clock him!
Cassius Has Got Some Explaining To Do-He Can’t Just Ignore Bruising Like That!
Cassius will have some explaining to do, he can’t just ignore bruising like that-Josslyn’s blow really left a mark, and that blow to the cheekbone is already black and blue!
After all is said and done with his disabling the feisty Josslyn, he knows that facial injury will swell up big-and much too close to his temple.
Cassius knows he’s going to have to concoct a cover story for that swelling and bruising that’s going to be believable-but first, he calls Britt for an emergency treatment.

Since everyone already knows the once excellent baseball player lost his skills over the seven mystery years, he decides to blame it on a missed hit.
He’ll tell Britt as well as Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) that he was practicing swinging with an automatic baseball thrower and missed the ball royally!
Britt Is Floored-Why Didn’t Cassius Wear A Helmet
When Cassius comes in with the goose egg on the side of his head, he spins his excuse, and Britt, always her snarky self, remarks, “I guess I’ll never take you to throw axes!” She actually says, “You dummy-why didn’t you wear a helmet?!”
Cassius covers well, admitting that although Nathan might have been a star slugger, he really doesn’t know that much about baseball!
Stupid answer, yes, but it does manage to serve it’s purpose; but Britt tells him he’d better come up with a different story to tell Lulu.
Whether Britt believes his story is questionable, she patches him up after putting an ice pack on him, advising an X-ray at the minimum and an MRI at the maximum.
As for Josslyn, he’s had Pascal (Marc Forget) stash her in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) “old room” under Wyndemere Castle!
