General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is back in Port Charles. Although she and her mother, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) have a complicated history, the family is family.

If she discovers that her mom is now in jail because her half-brother, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) framed her for his own crimes, will she want revenge?

General Hospital Spoilers – Did Brett Westbourne Forgive Her Mother?

GH viewers may consider it unlikely that Britt will have much sympathy for her mother considering the fact that the woman kidnapped her son and held him at Wyndemere together with Britt’s father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). A plethora of other issues between mother and daughter (tons of manipulations) may make the likelihood of Britt actually caring about the results of Peter’s schemes rather remote.

Still, there is the improbable chance that she might, and what then? GH fans may think back to all of the crimes both Peter and Britt have committed in their respective pasts. Both are schemers from birth and any attempt at revenge by Britt may be something Peter has already anticipated and prepared for. Even should she be successful, one has to ask what form that revenge might take.

GH Spoilers – Two Half-Siblings Grow Closer

Peter has already endured a lot at the hands of Obrecht. Fans may remember that he was actually held hostage in a cabin for literally months! Since Obrecht has a penchant for kidnappings and holding people hostage, notably family members, it’s possible that Britt may actually find herself believing that she has more in common with Peter than with her mother!

In that case, it may be reasonable to assume that Obrecht’s daughter just may team up with the son of her arch-nemesis, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Instead of taking revenge on Peter, the two half-siblings could grow closer due to their shared abuse at the hands of Britt’s mother. In that case, although not a couple in the traditional sense of the word, they could easily become a villainous super-duo!

The facts are that Obrecht is currently in jail framed by Peter for crimes that he committed. This could potentially remove Obrecht’s influence on both Britt’s and Peter’s lives for a long time to come. However, it’s equally possible that she may soon be cleared of all wrongdoing.

One thing is certain if Obrecht is exonerated. It won’t matter if Britt wants to take revenge against Peter or not at that point. If history is any judge, Obrecht’s wrath will be implacable. She’ll be out for Peter’s blood and she won’t need Britt’s help to spill it!
