General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Informs Jason About Cyrus’ New Drug, Works Together To Take Drug Lord Down?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY although Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) may be missing, that won’t stop Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) from working to stop Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) from trying to bring even more deadly drugs into Port Charles. And the person who may have the greatest insight into Cyrus’ plans is none other than Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). As viewers know, Cyrus recently informed Britt about a new drug he had developed.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Britt Was Concerned!

A worried Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wondered aloud how it would look if the doctors were peddling a drug developed at the very hospital and spearheaded by the Cyrus, (Jeff Kober) the Chairman of the Board at General Hospital. Britt pushed back that her major concern was for the patients at the hospital, and not making money off of a new drug. Cyrus was taken aback by Britt’s pushback, but he will likely insist that she follows his orders anyway. But what will Britt do if pushed into a corner?

GH Spoilers – A Newfound Ally

Luckily for Britt, she has found an ally of sorts in Jason. (Steve Burton) In fact, if not for a well timed phone call placed from Britt to Jason, Jason and his son Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) would most likely been caught in the explosion that destroyed the Floating Rib. Britt actually had valuable intel for Jason night, regarding Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Julian Jerome (William DeVry). Britt was the one who tipped of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason that Julian may have had something to do with the explosion that ended up taking many lives.

And while Jason may be concerned over Sonny’s whereabouts, he will still likely be the best chance that Britt has to stop Cyrus. If she tips Jason off that Cyrus has a new drug and that he’s encouraging the staff at GH to prescribe it, it may be the key to finally ending Cyrus’ stronghold at the hospital. But will Britt put everything on the line in order to do the right thing? Britt certainly has a checkered past, but seems determined to do the right thing now. The only questions is, will her decision put her life at risk? The old Britt would have most likely looked the other way.
