General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been keeping a secret so big that it would blow her family apart if she revealed it now. When Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was on her deathbed, she confessed to Carly that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is actually Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter, and Nelle Benson-Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) twin.
Carly followed up with a DNA test to prove it, but not before sharing Harmony’s secret with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) — a decision she might wish she could take back now.
When the DNA test proved Nina and Willow are indeed mother and daughter, Carly lied to Drew and told him they were not a match. Now, Drew is invested in helping Willow track down her birth parents, and Carly is panicking that he may be successful. When she finds out the reason behind Willow’s search, she will be floored, and her heart will sink.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Spencer is Riddled With Guilt
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is going to share the real reason behind Willow’s hunt for her birth parents with Carly soon. Right now, she’s under the impression Willow just wants all the medical history she can attain since she’s having a baby. When Michael tells Carly Willow has stage IV leukemia and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant, Carly will be brought to tears.
She will quickly piece things together and recognize that a blood relative is far more likely to be a match for the transplant than any stranger off the street. The longer Carly continues to keep it a secret that a potential match is right in Port Charles and Willow already knows her, the more her secret is going to eat her alive with guilt.
GH Spoilers – Indicate She Comes Close To Coming Clean
Carly isn’t going to be able to live with this for very long before she decides she has to tell the truth. She’s going to plan to tell Drew first because she feels bad that she lied to him to begin with. He will be willing to support her and although he’s upset she lied to him, he’s going to overlook it now that she intends to come clean.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait’s Health Declines
This story isn’t going to end how most assume it will. Willow’s exhaustive search for her birth parents won’t culminate in a result in time before her health worsens. As Carly and Drew work to figure out a way to make it look like evidence actually existed that brought him to discover Nina is Willow’s mom, Michael will tell them Willow doesn’t have much time left and she’s at the point of a bone marrow transplant being helpful.
In fact, she might not even survive the process if she were to undergo it. With this news in mind, Carly and Drew are going to butt heads. Drew will think it’s important to drop to act and tell Willow the truth so she can have her mother at her bedside as she crosses over.
However, Carly knows the damage it will do, and she doesn’t want to put her family through all of that at a time like this. Will anyone tell Willow the truth before it’s too late? Will Nina be left with yet another daughter she didn’t know as her own before she was gone forever? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers as they become available.
