General Hospital Spoilers: Carly And Drew Are At Nina’s Mercy

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) have been trucking right along and enjoying one another’s company, especially since they were recently able to take their relationship public. That being said, there isn’t a day that goes by that they don’t both feel the weight of the SEC hanging around their necks. Little do they know, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) put that investigation in motion, and she’s not done messing with them just yet. Nina isn’t going to rest until Carly loses everything that she holds dear — just as she believes Carly has done to her.

General Hospital Spoilers — Pressure Is Building

Nina’s plot against Carly is rapidly escalating. The pressure is mounting on Carly and Drew as they try to fight for their freedom amidst allegations of insider trading. But Nina is far from ready to give up on her pursuit to destroy Carly. Nina spent the better part of a day bouncing ideas off of Ava Jerome (Maura West) — who seems to think Nina is digging her own grave, not just Carly’s.

Suffice it to say, Nina isn’t an overtly confident woman. She’s quite paranoid that her secrets might come out. She has skeletons in her closet that she is desperate to keep hidden, and she wants to make sure she uses the leverage she has to put Carly away while she has the chance — using Drew to do it.

GH Spoilers – Tease Nina Reeve’s Plan Works…And Also Backfires

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina is going to get what she wants — sort of. As she uses Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) like a pawn to dangle information in Drew’s path, the goal will be to get him so worried that Carly might turn on him that he does it to her first. That’s the only way Nina can fathom she will get Drew to cross Carly. Of course, Carly isn’t planning to do any such thing, but Olivia won’t know that, since she and her bestie are not currently speaking due to this mess.

That being said, Drew has plenty of communication with Carly, so Nina will have to pull those strings in a way that makes him want to hold off on confronting Carly about her plans. Nina will be thrilled when her plan works and Drew falls right into her trap, but that doesn’t mean Carly is going to pay for her crimes. A massive plot twist might be in the works wherein Sonny turns himself in to spare Carly. Nina wasn’t planning on that!

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain And Carly Spencer Remain Oblivious

Of course, Nina will have once again outdone herself. First, she sicced the SEC on Drew when he was overseas fighting to rescue her aunt, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) clutches. Had the feds caught up with Drew before he was able to bring Liesl home, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) could have died and it would’ve been on Nina’s shoulders.

Now, she’s leading Drew to throw Carly in a cell while completely unaware that Sonny is going to be taking her place. Ouch! If only he would’ve told her, right? Nina is just as in the dark as Carly and Drew are. It’s the blind leading the blind out there. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
