General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, if Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) might contact Z (John Oliver) and try to get Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) fired?
After Carly couldn’t get anywhere with convincing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to quit the WSB while visiting her in the hospital, Jack showed up for a debrief-and Carly swore payback!
Key Takeaways
- Carly may consider contacting Z to remove Brennan from power.
- Brennan’s actions against Valentin could spark Carly’s next bold move.
- Z’s influence within the WSB could make Brennan’s job vulnerable.
- Carly risks creating powerful new enemies if she interferes in WSB affairs.
- A showdown between Carly and Brennan could reshape Port Charles alliances.
Carly Couldn’t Talk Z Into Firing Josslyn, But He Did Set Valentin Free, And Jason’s In The Process
Carly couldn’t talk Z into firing Josslyn, but he did set Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) free, and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) in the process-of course she doesn’t know that is because of Joss!
Apparently, Z indeed made some calls to free Valentin, because he showed up shortly after Z left- Jason takes a little longer, being in Indonesia.
So, because Valentin was released, and later Jason, once he arrives, that will give Z a little bit of credibility in Carly’s eyes-and with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) now dead, Brennan’s back.
Carly knows herself that there were quite a few rogue operations that Brennan set in place, and there are others that she suspects.
One thing she’s learned about the WSB, even those who supposedly are good guys-they’re twenty times more duplicitous than Cassadines!
Carly Knows Z Won’t Listen If She Brings Up Jack’s Manipulation Of Josslyn-She Has To Dig Deeper For Dirt!
Carly knows that Z won’t listen if she brings up Jack’s manipulation of Josslyn, she has to dig deeper for dirt-and she’s pretty sure that dirt is in Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) house.
She wouldn’t be averse to sneaking in and getting that dirt from Drew-after all, he’s got to know something-she just has to come up with the right questions for him to blink yes or no to.
Valentin knows that whatever was in that syringe that Nina accidentally stabbed Jack with had the same effects on him as a stroke-it’s cause and effect, there’s no way around it!
But Nina’s turn for scrutiny and accusations will have to come later-right now, she needs some dirt on Jack, and hopes Drew has some to share!
Drew and Carly’s past romantic relationship is long ago water under a bridge that has since crumbled and collapsed, but she thinks he might spill if he knows some dirt about Jack.
Carly Wants To Know If Drew Heard Any Dirt About Jack Before Valentin Got There That Day
Carly wants to know if Drew heard anything in those moments that he was alone with Nina, before Valentin got there that day when Jack got stabbed with Drew’s medication.
What she doesn’t expect is that Drew can put together a few simple words now-his paralytic is wearing off, and he’s using a new communication tool Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) arranged for.
Drew’s communication is a little choppy, but Carly definitely gets the drift-Jack “disappeared” proof that could have convicted Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) of his shooting.
For Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) custody case, Carly’s grateful for that tidbit, but does he know anything that would get Jack fired by the WSB?
She’s got to get something for payback, something that will take Jack down and get him fired by the WSB-Drew encourages her in just two short words-“You will”!
