General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Stunned by Ava’s Confession

General Hospital Spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has surely gone all out in her plot to bring Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) down, but her actions have deployed to a chain reaction that she could not ever have predicted. By tipping off the SEC, Nina not only put Carly’s freedom at risk, but she will also cause Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to go missing.

The consequences of her actions will be severe, and it seems that she is destined to lose the man she loves. When the truth comes out, Nina might be less bothered by the fact that everyone — including Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) — knows what she has done, and most bewildered and hurt by who did it to her. Yes, that’s Nina. A perpetual victim. This time the bully will be her bestie, Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Ava has never been known as gal’s gal. Nina shouldn’t be stunned that she would turn on her. After all, Ava was the first person to tell her not to get involved with Sonny. When Nina was already flirting with danger with “Mike” in Nixon Falls, she knew better than to tell Ava about it. She kept the secret to herself even then, as though something inside her was nudging her against confiding in Ava about what she had done.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Ava warned Nina that she didn’t really know Sonny or the darker side of his life, and she ignored it. Ava also warned her that she cannot cross Carly or she will lose Sonny. Honestly, should she be surprised at all that Ava ends up choosing Team Corinthos?

Ava is a smart lady, and she knows it’ll be best for her to stay on both Sonny’s and Carly’s good sides. She has to coparent with Sonny, and Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) just adores Carly — more than she does Nina. Sonny and Carly are stable forces in her life while Nina is a new one. Ava doesn’t have to like Carly in order to not want to see her locked up in the slammer, and it’s only going to solidify her place in Sonny’s cabinet of people he trusts and protects if she proves her loyalty to the family by forsaking Nina. Besides, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) just might nudge her in that direction anyway.
