General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Takes The Heat For Carly, Nina Can Only Blame Herself

General Hospital spoilers leak Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) just might keel over when all of her plans to take Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) down culminate in her sending her own fiancé — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — to the big house. Sure, that was never what Nina had intended to happen, and if she had known beforehand that Sonny would end up taking Carly’s place, she never would’ve pulled the trigger and told Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) to call the SEC.

But the damage is done, and there is absolutely no way Nina can come clean — not that doing so would fix anything at that point. Sonny is going to prison. Nina won’t have her white wedding, and it’s all her own fault.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Is Scheming

Nina is aware that the DA is interested in making a deal with Carly — her freedom in exchange for dirt on Sonny. But so far, Carly is firmly resistant to complying with that offer, should it come forth.

Nina was relying on that to remain true as she pushed Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to do some digging and confirm that an offer was on its way to Sonny’s ex-wife.

This is just the beginning of Nina’s meddling where Olivia is concerned. As she lures her in while she’s vulnerable and at odds with her bestie, Carly, Nina will have Olivia convinced that Carly is about to turn on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to protect Sonny. Or at least, that’s how it’s supposed to go. Nina’s plans rarely work out as intended though, case in point.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Nina Reeves’s Entitlement Shines Through

According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina’s relationship with Sonny started with her hiding him from his family while he was suffering from amnesia — unaware he had one — and they thought he was dead. Cute, right? She still felt she deserved a second chance to see where things could go between them though.

Lucky for her, Sonny thought Carly ditched him and he scooped Nina up moments later to stem the pain of that loss. He’s kept her all this time while Carly is otherwise preoccupied with Drew because Sonny is incapable of being single. No really, look it up.

Nina can’t seem to stop whining about how Carly always comes out on top. Just once, she wants her to pay, and she wants it to hurt. Doesn’t she deserve that? No? Well, Nina thinks so and we all know how good she is at believing her own lies.

Nina’s actions have far-reaching consequences. It seems no matter what she does, the people she claims to love come out hurt on the other side.

She just couldn’t shelve her resentment and lust for revenge. In turn, she sought to ruin Carly’s life and put her in prison, but instead, Sonny is going to step up to the plate and turn himself in just to save his ex-wife from persecution.

This is going to be a double whammy for Nina. Not only is Carly not paying for her legitimate crimes, and not only is Nina losing Sonny, but she’s technically losing him to Carly — again!
