Carly Is Being Pressured To Throw Valentin Under The Bus By Molly Lansing-Davis

Carly is being pressured to throw Valentin under the bus by Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and go along with her theory, which Carly keeps telling her doesn’t hold water.

Molly thinks she’s covering for Valentin, who must have drugged and drowned Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) and buried him.

When Outback dug up the finger and Valentin had it in a baggie at the shallow grave, it must have been because they were going to move the body from the nature preserve.

And Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) quickly changed his theory from Ava Jerome (Maura West) drugging Brennan to Valentin and Carly acting together to kill him.

But, with the autopsy showing the cause of death was drowning, although a prescription sleeping pill was found as well, it turned from a possibly sad accident to a premeditated murder!

As Carly’s November 6 interrogation showed, Molly and Dante are determined to get answers.

Several Of Carly’s Marriages To Sonny Were Ones Of Legal Convenience

Several of Carly’s past marriages to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) were marriages of legal convenience—usually so she wouldn’t have to testify against Sonny in some crime he committed.

But sometimes Carly got in some kind of trouble too, and that way he didn’t have to testify against her either, even if she was taken to court on false accusations.

Given that if Valentin and Carly were to wind up being tried for Brennan’s murder, it’s possible they would be at least allowed bail—that would give them time to marry before any trial!

Since Heather Webber (Alley Mills) bought Wyndemere and Spoon Island out from under Valentin anyway, the one thing keeping them from living together in some manner is gone!

Of course, Carly and Valentin’s discovery at Brennan’s grave has already made their situation more complicated.

That Would Certainly Put A Damper On Any Court Proceedings!

If Valentin and Carly married before a court date could be set, that would certainly put a damper on any court proceedings—although Molly could argue he’d be a flight risk.

However, there is some hope that when Tristan Rogers (Dean Geyer) talks to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in Monday, November 6th’s episode, he convinces him he’s arrested the wrong people.

But if it takes a few days for Dante and Molly, and quite possibly Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), to argue it out, they may not be able to hold Valentin and Carly for trial.

That would give them time to do a quickie wedding. Of course, it would have to be in Port Charles because they wouldn’t be able to leave town without making themselves look more guilty.

And that way, if Dante isn’t convinced by Tristan’s attempts and it does go to court, they can’t testify against each other.

Meanwhile, Brennan’s autopsy findings have already raised more questions about his death.

Could Carly really end up marrying Valentin to keep them both out of trouble? It would certainly be an unexpected twist, especially considering her history with Sonny!
