General Hospital Spoilers: Could Drew Cain’s Demise Usher In Jason Morgan’s Return?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans need to brace themselves for some insane plot twists in Port Charles. Right now, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is struggling to try and find a way to help get Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) prison sentence appealed. But she might be fighting a losing battle.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Warden’s Cryptic Warning

GH spoilers hint that Drew could be in danger. He was jumped recently in prison, a beating that almost cost him his life.

While he’s recovering nicely in the hospital, Warden Gartner’s (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) cryptic warning to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) during their chat this week suggests that Mr. Cain is not out of the woods when it comes to being a target. That beating was not to send a message, rather, it was to eliminate Drew, for good.

Cain is a staple on the soap, but that doesn’t mean the show wouldn’t do something shocking like have him killed. Drew’s death would only intensify the storyline and Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) need for revenge. It would also enhance the aftermath of Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) SEC secret reveal.

GH Spoilers – Enter, Jason Morgan

Obviously, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wouldn’t appear back on the soap, right away; however, his exit back in late 2021 was a quick one that was due to the soap’s vaccine policy. Now that this is done away with, Burton could easily return to show, and most fans would welcome him back with open arms.

After all, it did seem prior to his exit that the wind was shifting. While Sonny had recently returned from Nixon Falls fans knew it was only a matter of time before he ended up with Nina and it looked as if Carly would gravitate toward Jason.

When Jason left, Drew became his “fill-in” as a romantic pairing with Carly. While Darly seemed like a darling couple at first, things still don’t feel right with them together. Drew is like a doormat to Carly’s every whim and is quickly forgiven for all her sins, no matter how harsh they are.

Jason returning to Port Charles will finally give viewers something they’ve wanted to see for a while: the exploration of a mature Jarly relationship where BFFs become way more than ever anticipated.
