General Hospital Spoilers – Franco Baldwin and Britt Westbourne Talk Turkey
As GH fans may remember, Britt met up with Franco as he was sketching at Kelly’s waterfront diner. Apparently, the meeting was unintentional, but it gave Britt the opportunity to go on an apology tour for what she believes is Obrecht’s crimes. As she told Franco at the time, “My mother did try to kill you and you are her only friend, so …”
To Britt’s utter shock, Franco seemed to come off as a complete sucker. Franco was actually considering the idea that Obrecht might not be guilty of trying to have him killed! GH viewers may find that an interesting admission on Franco’s part considering the fact that not long ago he was storming out of Obrecht’s jail cell.
While there, Obrecht had ranted and raved about her innocence, begging Franco to believe her. However, Franco reminded Obrecht about all the many times she has betrayed her friends and family in the past. Apparently, Franco also had issues with believing the evil Dr. Obrecht.
While Britt thinks Franco is nuts for trying to see things in a different light, he reminds her that it’s just as she said. Franco is Obrecht’s only friend. As such, shouldn’t he be willing to at least consider the possibility that Obrecht is telling the truth?

GH Spoilers – Britt Westbourne is Utterly Shocked
Britt knows her mother’s nature. Britt is no stranger to Obrecht’s scheming and manipulations. However, interestingly, GH viewers may agree that Britt definitely seemed taken aback by Franco’s willingness to think outside the box. The things that he had to say caused Britt to take a moment and reflect. Could Obrecht be right? Could Peter August (Wes Ramsey) have framed her? After all, Franco had some good points.
First, if Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) represented a chance for Obrecht to turn her life around, then James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) was a completely new start. Why would Obrecht do anything to jeopardize her chances of being a doting grandmother?
Secondly, when Peter joined he and Britt, Franco made sure to suggest point-blank that Peter hired someone to kill him and Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery), but then had a change of heart and killed the assassin instead. Britt may or may not have considered that angle before. Judging by the look on her face during the conversation, Britt’s brain may have simply been taking it all in. She could always analyze it all later.

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Remains Undecided for Now
Although Franco’s thought process may be leading him in the direction of the truth, it seems Britt may remain undecided for the time being. GH fans may wonder if her head is in the right place. At this point, maybe Britt simply has too much against her mother to even entertain the possibility that Obrecht might actually be innocent.
Still, Britt appeared to genuinely consider, if even for a moment, the issues that Franco brought to light. Perhaps GH viewers will see Britt continue to mull things over. If she has the slightest inclination to dig for the truth, Britt is a GH character who could flip in Obrecht’s favor.
Until shown otherwise, however, Britt is likely to remain a wild card in the entire Peter and Obrecht saga.
