General Hospital Spoilers: Could Nikolas Have Been An Evil Twin-Is The Real Nikolas Alive Captive?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that the Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who recently was killed by Ava Jerome (Maura West) could have been an evil twin. Could the real Nikolas be alive and held captive somewhere on Cassadine Island or one of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) other fortresses?

General Hospital Spoilers: Not Like Laura Collins’ Oldest Son

Longtime viewers could argue that the Nikolas who returned from the dead this time was nothing like Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) oldest son who saved his baby sister’s life.

That Nikolas was sixteen years old when he came to Port Charles, and was not like the evil recently deceased Nikolas who seemed more like Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker Kelly). The Nikolas who came to Port Charles with Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) would never have left his son in the dark about his survival for five years.

The switch could have taken place several years ago when Nikolas first tried to fake his death, but told his young son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). He was the one who went by the name “Niall Carradine” and Ava got acquainted with on a plane, and was shot by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on Cassadine Island.

GH Spoilers: Separated At Birth, Laura Collins Never Knew?

With all the strange experiments Victor and Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) did on Cassadine Island and Laura in captivity when Nikolas was born, might she have had twins and not known? Victor supposedly was dead during that time but reappeared years later as the head of the WSB and then faked his death again in the explosion of the Crichton-Clark Clinic.

No one knew Valentin was his son and he was already in boarding schools when Nikolas was born and Laura was captive-might Victor have taken Nikolas’ twin without anyone knowing? He could have been training this twin as a henchman when Helena was training Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as a soldier-maybe something didn’t work like with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). If that is the case maybe the real Nikolas is still alive and being held somewhere on Cassadine Island, but not the same place where Drew was most recently held.

General Hospital Spoilers: The Real Nikolas Cassadine Returns?

With searches going on for Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) and the truth of what happened to Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) by Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) it’s possible Nikolas may be found. There are so many un-Nikolas like things that this recent “Nikolas” did, it’s been like he was a whole different person –even his mother didn’t seem to know him anymore. Unless Victor programmed him during those missing years, it’s not likely to have been the real Nikolas who died on Spoon Island.

Perhaps after more time has elapsed and Victor has been taken down for good, he’ll be found and reappear. He’ll have a difficult time convincing his family to accept him and what happened, but on the other hand, with what happened to Drew, maybe they won’t be so surprised.
