General Hospital Spoilers: Crazy Scheme, Lethal Danger, Dodging Henchmen And Determination

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of May 1 tease danger, dodging henchmen and determination as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and the rescue team are on the island. Laura, Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) Curtis Ashford, (Donnell Turner) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are there to save Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) hostages and take him down!

General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Obrecht Stands Her Ground

Down inside the bunker, an angry Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) stands her ground as Victor tells her let’s go and make history. Liesl is tasked with creating an antidote for the airborne pathogen that Victor plans to release on the world in order to reduce the population by eighty percent. At first, she was told it was a vaccine -but now she’s angry because in order to create an antidote, the pathogen has to be released and infect people first!

Liesl will continue to try and stall Victor, although he will become suspicious of her stalling tactics. Victor obviously doesn’t have even his grandsons’ best interests at heart because Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is one of the human guinea pigs.

GH Spoilers: Dodging Henchmen

Upside on the island, Laura notes that Victor has henchmen all over the place as she, Curtis and Valentin hide behind a boulder. Curtis says he is going to bring them home safely, after Valentin dropped his satellite phone in the snow and it rings. Valentin creates a distraction and a way into the compound as he rushes towards the two low-level henchmen and turns himself in-it’s not likely they’ll kill the boss’s son.

Meanwhile, inside the compound, Spencer and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are struggling, trying to get away from henchmen who are bringing them obviously to be Liesl’s guinea pigs! However, there are five henchmen to two of Spencer and Trina, and they likely won’t be able to break free to evade their planned fate.

General Hospital Spoilers: Determination

Back in Port Charles in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) hospital room, she and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) look horrified as Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) talks to them. He says this is the most dangerous mission and Anna and Holly are determined to go to the island and join the rescue team, after Holly wasn’t able to reach Valentin. Anna knows the team must be in trouble because the call went through but there was no answer; meanwhile, back on the island Drew takes action.

It looks like Curtis has already gone ahead, Valentin was taken by the two henchmen, and Drew and Laura are now by themselves. Drew says to Laura “let’s do this” and they and Curtis go to breach the compound, likely following the henchmen who now have Valentin.
