General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) may soon get his own goose cooked for dinner!
While Jack is distracted with his confrontation with Carly, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could have time to put his burner phone in Jack’s Metro Court suite!
Valentin’s Like A Weasel, He Can Sneak In And Out Of Anywhere At A Moment’s Notice
Carly’s fears that Valentin’s call to France could have been traced in spite of it being a burner phone, turned out to be valid-GH fans saw Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) get a call.
Someone has been keeping tabs on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and the French clinic that she’s in, and notified Cullum Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had called.
However, Cullum picked up on the fact very quickly that Kevin is in Ireland, not in Port Charles, and was able to trace that the call came from Port Charles.
Valentin is like a weasel, he can sneak in and out of anywhere at a moment’s notice. While he may have taken a deep dive under Carly’s bed, or maybe into the bathroom, he wasn’t seen when Jack busted in-and of course Carly will keep Jack distracted.
Carly Is Dressed As Jack Talks About Consequences, That’s Valentin’s Time To Sneak Out
While Jack will find out that Valentin is the mystery man Carly’s been canoodling with, at least according to some interviews portrayer Chris McKenna recently did, he may not see him.
In a recent promo, Jack is seen blasting Carly, who by then is dressed, and he’s angry and drunk; he demands, “Did you think there would be no consequences?”
Jack likely leaves her bedroom so she can get dressed, and that could be Valentin’s opportunity to sneak out-it’s yet unclear how Jack finds out Carly’s lover is Valentin.
Carly may be able to give Valentin a master key so he can sneak into the Metro Court and into a suite, probably in some kind of a quickly assembled disguise.
Thinking on his feet, and changing locations on the fly, he could easily realize Carly was right about the possible trace of the burner phone, and put it in Jack’s suite!
Burner Phones Can Be Traced, Although Not Exact Locations
Valentin of course will take care to wipe anything from the burner phone quickly that could tie it to himself, such as any calls between himself and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).
He may be doing that already to protect his location and hers, but he’ll definitely leave the call to France; bearing in mind that he made that call from Carly’s attic.
In real life, burner phones can be triangulated-meaning an approximate location between cell towers-although sometimes law enforcement sets up a “fake” cell tower called a stingray.
The sought for person makes a phone call or receives one, and instead of connecting to a normal tower it will connect to the stingray instead.
That provides an almost exact location, but then this isn’t real life, so the WSB may have a way to trace the location exactly.
Cullum Would Consider Jack Making Phone Calls To Anna’s Clinic Suspect, And Rogue!
As far as Cullum’s concerned, Jack should have no knowledge or interest in Anna’s location, even though Anna’s family lives right there in Port Charles and they may want his help.
Jack was never clued in to any recall WSB mission when Anna disappeared, and originally, he was the reason Anna was forced to quit the WSB for her double-agent history!
Cullum, accessing an advanced phone tracking system that would track a burner phone’s exact location, would find the call originally came from Carly’s house, and track the phone to the Metro Court.
And even though Cullum himself is still a patient at General Hospital, Jack may be shocked to find himself under arrest as a rogue agent, because of Valentin’s phone call about Anna!
