Could a plea deal change his situation? Would he throw Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) under the bus to avoid prison time?
5 Key Takeaways:
- Curtis faces mounting legal trouble after assaulting Isaiah
- Isaiah’s hand injury could lead to devastating consequences for Derek
- Curtis worries a plea deal may be his only way to avoid prison
- Valentin secretly saved Curtis and Jordan during the car crash
- Curtis may be forced to reveal Valentin’s whereabouts to authorities
Curtis Ashford’s Moral Dilemma
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that had it not been for Valentin, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) would be dead.

Valentin arrived on the scene and helped Curtis pull Jordan away from the car before it burst into flames.
With that said, Curtis has remained hush-hush about his helper this entire time.
He appreciated and respected the fact that Valentin risked it all to help him and Jordan.
After all, Valentin is a fugitive out on the run from the WSB.
Still, as time wears on, things change. Curtis is wrapped in some legal issues due to his fight with Isaiah at the Metro Court Gardens.

While Isaiah did provoke Curtis, the fact of the matter is that Curtis did punch the surgeon.
Now Isaiah can’t perform procedures, including an important one he was supposed to conduct this week that involves a little boy named Derek (Anias Anozie).
Should the boy pass away before or after his newly scheduled surgery in Chicago, this could drastically change things – and charges – for Curtis.
Curtis’s Plea Deal
During General Hospital’s Thursday, May 28 episode, Curtis gave Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) the lowdown on his situation.
He also hoped he could find a lawyer to issue a plea deal of some sort to avoid jail time.
If anything happens to Derek, ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) hands may be tied.
Curtis may get a far steeper sentence, maybe even prison, and a plea deal might be denied; unless he can help authorities find a criminal on the run, right?
Curtis may not want to throw Valentin under the bus and tell the PCPD that he was in Port Charles six weeks ago and helped him with Jordan; however, he may not have a choice.
